Nature & Environment One of the most memorable parts of staying in a Broken Bow cabin is being surrounded by nature. Because this property is located in a wooded setting, guests may encounter wildlife and seasonal elements during your stay.
Deer, squirrels, raccoons, turkeys, and other native wildlife are commonly seen throughout the area. The cabin is professionally treated for pests, though occasional insects such as spiders, mosquitoes, beetles, ladybugs, or wasps may still appear, particularly during seasonal transitions or rain.
During spring months, pollen from surrounding pine trees may collect on outdoor surfaces despite cleaning efforts before arrival.
Keeping doors and screens closed whenever possible helps maintain a comfortable indoor environment throughout your stay.
We encourage guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while remaining respectful of neighboring cabins and the natural environment. Sound travels easily throughout the forested area.
What To Bring We recommend bringing groceries, condiments, cooking oils and seasonings, personal toiletries, coffee and creamers, bug spray for mosquitoes and ticks, ice, and firewood with fire starters for the outdoor firepit.

Really nice cabin. Surrounded by other vacation rental cabins so its a cool area and quiet. Would definitely stay again. Only downside is the roads in the area are not finished pavement so just gravel and mud with tons of potholes, driver beware, i would suggest trucks and large SUV only.

Relax to the Max!
A beautiful place to stay and all the amenities to relax! The fire pit with chairs and swings was a great place to unwind.
The house was nice, the roads are not great getting to it. There were plenty of games to play on the rainy days we had. We enjoyed the outdoor swing area. Loved getting to see all sorts of animals in the yard
The property was awesome, very cozy and up to date, just like the pictures advertised. Loved all the amenities. Communication with property management was excellent and responses to questions were immediate. The heads up about it being a gravel road was good to know, albeit bumpy in a few places. Wonderful experience.
The Property was beautiful. Just what I needed for my 83 year old parents to enjoy.

We’ll be back!
Our family of 5 + our dog absolutely loved our stay at Pine Bark Re-treat! It was spotless, well taken care of, and spacious. Plus, it had so many games to keep our family entertained during a couple rain storms. We were sad to leave, but we will definitely be back!
Also, definitely download the AllTrails app to help find the best hiking trails!

Burnt Whiskey/treeline properties.
The house was nice, but my husband and I both at age 75 have stair issues. This property has way too many stairs at the front door and the back deck/hot tub. I should have specified the need for handicap access.

Just perfect for our little family retreat
I intentionally picked this cabin because there are no stairs! I am 67 yrs old and me and adult son and 18 month old grand-son stayed over the weekend. A lot of stairs is challenging for me and not having any gave me peace of mind about the grandson and not having to worry about him falling down stairs. Most cabins I have rented in Broken Bow have as many as 30-40 stairs to get to hot tub or ground level in back yard, so thankful this one has 0 stairs! Bedrooms were large, primary bedroom had beautiful free-standing soaking tub and huge shower and double vanities. The second bedroom/bath was also good sized and they even provided shampoo, conditioner and bath wash in that restroom! Cabin was very clean and well maintained. Loved big long sitting porch in front and back. Loved that it had rocking chairs in the back as grandson loves to be rocked. Back yard was level - great for children to play in. Worried about noise level with other cabins so near by, but wasn't bad.

Lovely house/property- Lots of issues
Property and home are lovely but hot tub had tons of white flaky debris floating in it and it took them 2 days to get it cleaned out…. Gross. A swing broke around the fire pit while my son was swinging on it . Fell on his ankle. Then we were afraid to swing on any of the others due to poor installation and open hardware. Guest Shower wouldn’t drain and had brown water. We all had to shower in the Master for 3 days. All in all lots of issues and poor response from property management. For the price I feel like we had a lot of issues. No offer to make things right from management. Sadly will not return to this property. Also just fyi… the dirt roads getting into and out of the neighborhood are TERRIBLE! Full of potholes! Depending on your vehicle it could be a problem.
