Known as the Bass Capital, you are just a few minutes away from the St. Johns River, Crescent Lake, and even Lake George, the second largest lake in Florida. We have a fish cleaning station, a grill, and a griddle that are in a screened-in area on the water with fans and a TV. A large granite-top table that seats 10.


Just a few minutes away is the Redneck Riviera, a sandbar where all the locals hang out and have a great time. Everybody is welcome to join in, have fun, and make memories.

FREE USE of our 16-ft inflatable boat for 1 day when you stay 4 days or more (extra days available) when you stay 4 days or more. The boat has a 4-stroke 20hp motor (the same boat used by rescue services, very safe). If you stay for a shorter time, we rent the boat by the day.
Just a few minutes away from the world-famous Redneck Riviera Sand Bar to anchor and have fun.
4 Crab traps for big old BLUE CRABS are yours to use.
The house is on a canal just a few minutes from St. John's River and Dunn's Creek, which lead to Lake George and Crescent Lake, both of which are known as the bass capital of the world.
With access to the Salt Springs swimming area, as well as my favorite spring in Florida, Silver Glen.
From the backyard, you can fish, relax, and will always see some critters, like our Blue Herons that stop by all the time, or the many birds that visit our bird feeder and birdbath, as well as hummingbirds that visit the feeder and a few alligators in the canal.
Home offers 100 ft of dock front to tie your boat with boat ramps just a few miles away if you decide to bring your own boat.
We offer a 16-ft inflatable boat with a 20-hp motor for you to use during your stay at no charge if you stay for 4 days or more.
Fishing poles with tackle are provided, as well as a worm farm to get your own live bait.
You can fish right off the dock and catch many species of fish.
The screened-in grill area features a large gas grill and a spacious flat-top griddle, along with a table and chairs, as well as a Smart TV for enjoying the outdoors.
There are 2 king beds: one is a Craftmatic adjustable bed with a Tempur-Pedic mattress, and the other is a high-quality memory foam mattress with cooling features.
Bunk bed for the kids with a double futon on the bottom and a twin mattress on the top.
Two couches can be converted into beds; one is a queen and the other is a twin.
Tankless hot water heater.
Water Filtration System.
6 smart TVs.
FREE Wi-Fi.
Gated yard for your pets.
Hunting is available in the Ocala National Forest and other wildlife management areas within 30 minutes or less.

Our host was great and very responsive. The house is great. Good for families with children, a group of friends who are fishing. The kids caught lots of pan fish and we caught several catfish and some tilapia. Kitchen well stocked with pots and dishes. The screened outdoor kitchen was great, we had a cookout and everything was great

You won't regret a stay here. We had a wonderful time grilling on the screened in porch over Dunns creek. Dwight went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, can't thank you enough.

Absolutely loved our stay on the house on the canal. It was adorable and our dog loved the backyard. The house had all the items needed for a weekend away. Definitely would recommend to friends and family and will be planning another visit down there soon.

Great place to stay

The house is newly renovated and is stocked with everything needed. We rented the Carolina Skiff and it ran great and has a power pole and GPS enabled trolling motor. Very peaceful setting right on the canal with fire pit, dock space, BBQ grill, and grill. Dwight, the owner, is incredibly nice and ensured that our stay was as enjoyable as possible.

Great place to stay if you going fishing. Owners were wonderful about everything. The only thing you will to bring is food. The house has almost everything you need. We will be renting this house again.

Awesome Cana Front Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Dwight and Jackie are awesome hosts. The house was clean, looked just like the pictures and had more than I could name. Infinity game table was great fun, laundry detergent, bottled water, eggs and so very much more! It’s an easy drive to St Augustine and her beautiful beaches as well as Silver Springs, traveling the St John’s River and our favorite Silver Glen Sorings. Thanks for allowing us to stay at this awesome home!!!!!

The hosts were very accommodating. It was especially great to have them meet us at the property and review the home's amenities. They gave us suggestions based on our interests for activities as well. We appreciated not having to purchase anything other than our groceries!We stayed 2 weeks.We enjoyed walking and biking trails, some fishing off the back dock and golf. Fisherperson Paradise

We loved our stay at this home! Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was the rather large yard with the property completely fenced so that we didn’t have to worry about our dogs roaming off. Entering the house was a breeze, it’s clean and incudes great amenities but you don’t feel like you’re worried about breaking anything. My favorites were the water dispenser that included a pet option with a bowl for your furry kids and THE LIVE WORM FARM for my husband to use while fishing. I haven’t even touched on the awesome dock located steps out of the back door. Great for fishing, relaxing and/or a trip on the lake with one of the available boats. Home is located near several springs, fishing spots and close to St Augustine; would highly recommend for singles or families alike. The host was extremely easy to work with and actually took the time to provide us with a lovely hand made, personalized etched wood souvenir. Will definitely book again!

The best vacation in a long time!

You couldn't ask for better host than Dwight and Jackie (sp) Place and grounds were top notch and we wanted for nothing. Everything was stocked for our stay and these folks genuinely wanted us to have a good time. Our grandkids were there for a couple of days and thoroughly enjoyed fishing from the dock and the boat rides in the little boat. Dwight even set up a little worm farm so they had plenty of bait! Entire yard was fenced so we didn't have to worry about our dog while he was out exploring , Fred also gives 5 stars as the treats that Dwight had provided were better than what he gets at home. Plenty to do in the surrounding area and you're on the St Johns within minutes in any direction and into Dunns Creek at the end of the canal. Great eats nearby too, try the 207 for home cooked, Corky Bells for great seafood, and Angel's Diner for great burgers. Cant say enough good things about this place, not one thing wrong! Grounds and house were beautifully maintained and decorated. We're going to re-book for next year as soon as we figure out some dates. Best Florida trip in many years! Thank you Dwight and Jackie!!

Easiest cleanest VRBO stay ever

Y’all!!!! My husband and I looked everywhere for where we wanted to spend our 20th wedding anniversary. Ohhh boy did we pick right!! It was only us two, but there was plenty of room for the entire family. The kitchen was spotless, with new appliances and every accessory and cooking tool you would need. I won’t even get started on the screened in grilling and eating area outside on the canal with a gorgeous view.. the beds were comfortable and clean with TV’s and plenty of air for us! You know the South can get pretty hot! But, let’s talk about the dock!!! Oh my gosh! It is perfect. Some is shaded with sitting and plenty of fishing space. Beautiful fish in there and within reasonable distance to stores, restaurants and bars. Such great food nearby. But the fishing, is spot on! We took the little boat and it was so nice on the water. Beautiful sunrises, great fish to bring home and everyone was super nice. Georgia boys fish camp is so close with bait and so much more!!! However, the last and best part were our hosts! Great information, quick responses and they thought of everything! We can’t wait to go back with the family! Thank you guys for such a memorable trip for us!

What makes this property unique

We have 100 ft of waterfront. We have a covered fishing area. We have two boats. One of them you can use with a four night stay. The other one you can rent. We have a fish cleaning station. Our property is completely fenced in so your fur babies won't fall in the water. We also have a screened in covered cooking area with a sink. It has a grill and a flat top grill and a big marble table where you can all sit around and enjoy the for the weather without the bugs
