This stay was truly amazing. Right in the center of a historic quaint neighborhood in Muskegon which also happens to be in the dead center of town.

Cozy little unit! No complaints at all — nice location, right next to a cool historic neighborhood and the lake, everything you need in a compact and clean space. Host went above and beyond to help me check in after a technical issue (my error, not theirs).

Beautiful apartment just right for a few days in downtown Muskegon. Apartment nicely decorated and very clean. Off street parking a real plus. Convenient to shopping, dining, and the conference center. Highly recommend this listing.
We had a great stay over Labor day weekend. The apartment had everything we needed and we were very impressed by how well everything was remodeled. Walking distance to restaurants, short drvie to our favorite beaches and to our surprise, across the street from the Polish Festival. We had a great time and looking forward to coming back!
Nice little studio apartment. Was just right for a short stay.
Great little renovated place within walking distance to downtown Muskegon’s shops and restaurants. Excellent location to view fireworks right off the back patio. There’s a beautiful city garden right next door that was a surprise addition to our stay. Communication with the owners was prompt and friendly. The only thing I could think of to mention was the washer and dryer combo was a little tricky at first but we figured it out quickly, and it’s not worth taking any kudos away from the owners. I’d definitely stay here again!

I had a conference at Delta, and this rental couldn’t have been more convenient! My service dog and I were much more comfortable than we would be in a hotel. Everything was exactly as expected.
Home away from home. That's what The Victorian Queen Getaway felt like. Two adults and a pet made home in this very clean, very well appointed space. We were impressed with the attention to detail poured into design and functionality and amenities. The bed was comfy and towels are nice. Nicole was on point from setup to checkout. She was helpful and quick to respond to our questions. The walks to nearby Hackley Park and The Monet Garden were wonderful on a sunny Autumn day. Our furry friend even joined us for a lunch at Rad Dads. Excellent gourmet tacos. Another short walk away. This home is in a premier location. We're ready to book our next visit to Muskegon at the Victorian Queen Getaway. Thank you for a comfortable and pleasant stay Nicole.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I’m so glad you felt right at home at The Victorian Queen Getaway and enjoyed the space, amenities, and nearby spots like Hackley Park, the Monet Garden, and Rad Dads. It was such a pleasure hosting you (and your furry friend!), and I truly appreciate your kind words. I look forward to welcoming you back to Muskegon for your next visit!
I loved everything about this stay with one exception.... The mattress cover! I appreciate the thought behind a waterproof mattress cover. I use them on my personal mattresses in my home. I have never experienced one like this. It was like a tarp over the mattress. Zero breathability that led to waking up drenched in sweat even though the room was at a comfortable temperature. It also was very loud so every time we moved you heard crinkling. Heaven forbid we should roll over! It was an orchestra of plastic that ensured no one stayed asleep.Seriously, loved everything else! But why? Why did they wrap the mattress in such absurd cover? For what it's worth, I would stay again... But I would bring my own waterproof mattress pad.

Tiffanie, Thank you so much for your detailed and honest review—we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We're so glad to hear you loved your stay overall and that you'd consider returning. That means a lot to us!
We also really appreciate your feedback about the mattress cover. Your description made us smile (and cringe a little!)—and you're absolutely right, comfort is key. We'll definitely be looking into better alternatives that provide protection without compromising breathability or sleep quality.
Thanks again for staying with us, and we’d love to welcome you back—crinkle-free next time!
