Great location but accommodation needs updating
The property is in a great location to access beaches and other attractions. It is spacious and reasonably well equipped. Also the onsite amenities are included in the price , swimming, crazy golf ect . Unfortunately the property could do with a little maintenance especially the downstairs bathroom . The shower pole is falling of the wall and you cannot put the sink plug and the tap is very loose . The cleaners leave alot to be desired. This is a shame because it just needs a bit of attention to make it really good
Our experience didn’t quite start off as planned but this is more down to the lack of sign postings/directions in the resort itself and us arriving in the dark after hours. Once we located the house (with the help of Sally) we entered the property with ease and we’re instantly surprised at how spacious yet cosy everything was. The rooms were all great size, living rooms was perfect for a large group. Adequate number of bathrooms which were all fully functional. The downstairs heaters all worked fine but there were a couple upstairs which did not work on demand (they are on a heat control system) which meant we needed to keep the downstairs on full to heat up the house at night time.
Kitchen was fully stocked. Fridge/freezer was good size and operated well.
Hoover didn’t work but I asked Sally for a replacement which was delivered immediately.
TV was modern with all features to keep little ones entertained.
The site itself has a fast charger for EVs and we’ll as some slower ports. Swimming pool and gym looked good although we didn’t use. Surprised that the kids club and games room were not there anymore but we were out during most day times.
Overall, the property was great and gave us everything we needed. management was on hand to cater for anything we needed. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation which is a good distance from the town and nearby to other attractions.
Scott was very helpful in recommending restaurants for us too so thank you to you and Sally.
Overall happy with the accommodation however some improvements are needed.
At first glance the property looked as pictured and indeed most things were just as described. We were happy and impressed to see that stair gates were provided for our two year old however only one worked as the other at the bottom of the stairs was broken or not fitted properly. The cooker hood is ancient and was not clean and the light did not work nor did the ceiling spot lights in the kitchen as the bulbs were blown, needless to say we couldn't see what we were cooking having arrived late in the evening. I did report it but had no response re replacing the bulbs. We did find a bulb that fitted the cooker hood and managed to changed it so we had some light for the rest of the time. We have an autistic child who uses the tablet to keep calm so were happy that wi-fi was provided, one of the reasons we chose the property, however the reception was very poor and her programs kept buffering so some of the times we had to deal with meltdowns. Investment in a signal booster for the property would help reception I believe. Apart from those things, we enjoyed the property as everything else worked fine.

Nice but with reservations
The site itself is a bit 'tired' looking and needs tidying up. The property was fine except the shower in the main bathroom was not usable. This was reported to the number given in the property info but met with indifference. Not good enough. the person on the phone was unhelpful and said she was just the cleaner. We actually found a new hose in a cupboard and fixed it ourselves. Property location is very good.

very good pleased with the space of the house 4 good bed rooms 3 large bathrooms
We had a 4 night stay over Christmas, needed an escape, ideal place. Nice touch having a Christmas tree, dvd, good wick, great to have 3 bathrooms. Only 7 miles from Newquay. Any questions answered quickly. So would definitely recommend this house and the resort. Really enjoyed our Christmas. Thankyou Scott and your housekeeper.
Brilliant accommodation and such good value for money. Was well equipped and the information given before hand was very helpful to make the stay smooth running.
The complex is lovely and pool is great. Not too far from Newquay centre which has some amazing restaurants.
The whole family thoroughly enjoyed their stay - many thanks

Property furniture was damaged, upstairs bathroom sink lights was not working.. other than that evwa
Fantastic property. Stayed as a family of 10 with a dog. House was big enough for everyone. Well kept and very clean when we arrived. Would book the house again and definitely recommend it to other family and friends.
Location was good. We visited lots of other places in Cornwall and there were good amenities on the site although we didn’t use them that much as spent days out.
We visited the resort after COVID-19 and we loved our stay. The house was lovely and with plenty of room for the children and dogs. As usual we expected a couple of the services to not be available due to the pandemic but the services that were opened appeared clean and well maintained for. The one thing that I have to say is that the dog area is too far (situated at the front of the resort) and the dogs have to remain on their leads as it is by the main road. Overall not the most convenient for the people staying at the far back of the resort as most of the time the dogs would not be able to get to the dog area to do their necessities. But apart from that, I would definitely recommend to all families and a very great location to visit all the different parts of cornwall.

Initial impression was very bad as the place had not been cleaned and there was no power.
When we arrived at 3.30PM the property was very dirty, smelly with un-flushed toilets and no clean linen, it had not been cleaned since the previous tenant departed. Owner and cleaner were contacted and when cleaning started it was found that the electrical power had failed, this further delayed cleaning. We eventually gained access to the property around 9PM. Fortunately we had no young children and were able to cope with the delay but it was extremely upsetting and a very bad start to the holiday.
Despite the initial problems that has coloured our opinion of Atlantic Reach we had no further problems with the property or the on site facilities. Atlantic Reach was convenient for the many off site locations we wished to visit and served its required purpose very well.

Great location.
Adequate for our needs though some of the furniture ( drawers especially) in need of TLC. A little short of some useful items like a veg knife and tongs but dishwasher a bonus! 3 showers + toilets great for large family too.
Location excellent for accessing many of the local attractions

Good location and on site facilities
We stayed as a family of two generations of adults and three children. The location close to Newquay is great and the layout of the cottage suited us. However, I have to say the cottage is getting a little tired and is in need of some TLC.
The onsite facilities were good for the children and we used the pool, indoor play area and bar. Sadly we never had the time to play tennis or golf or take advantage of the spa.
We would stay at Atlantic Reach again but probably not at this particular property.

Cottage 28 Atlataic Reach Newquay
The property was spacious and roomy and 6 adults 4 children (2 babies) were all comfortable.
Baby Gate and High chair were not there on our arrival but was delivered once we rang.
Maintenance of the property was not being kept up to date.
Light bulbs had gone in living room and not replaced.
The Fire extinguisher check was out of date.
The connections to the towel rails were slightly loose one of the babies was in her dads arms and grabbed cable (which is what babies do) and the power went off this was obviously very concerning.
Other than that stay was excellent

Holiday in newquey
We stayed in the property 23july 2016 very spacious and comfortable clean bedrooms and good sized bathrooms plenty of equipment and dishes might benefit from some new soft furnishings at end of the season ,we would come back here again ,we did take a dog but were a little disappointed to find that we couldn't take our dog into the bar area or cafe when we were told that the site was dog friendly .the kitchen units could do with abit of TCL .

Good Location for Exploring
Thank you Scott for the welcome pack , it was nice to get in, unpack and have tea/coffee and biscuits .
We have just returned from 28 Atlantic Reach after a 2 week holiday , everything you needed was in the house.
it was nice to get home at night and fire up a BBQ, have a glass of wine and relax.
We used the swimming pools indoor and outdoor, the outdoor pool was very cold , but to be expected at this time of year.
We had one night of bingo and a quiz, which was entertaining , otherwise we were all too exhausted after our adventures during the day.
My only complaint was the beds were quite uncomfortable , however it was only for 2 weeks, and not a major issue.
We will definitely return as there is so much more to see in the south west .
Thank you again Scott.

Good apartment and site. However didn't get all that we paid for
The apartment was clean tidy and there was ample space for our large party. However we paid 40 pounds for a cot and high chair. We got the cot but not the high chair. We asked the reception but as it was a private booking with the owner there was nothing they could do.
Would recommend the area as close to the beaches but far enough away from the crowds.

Hi, sorry to hear that the high chair wasn't in the property. Our housekeeper (not reception) would've been able to assist.
Please contact me by email and I'll refund the cost of the high chair.
Thanks
