Very pleased with our stay. No issues and had everything we needed. Comfortable, beautiful accommodations inside and out. Our kids loved taking the kayak's out on the water. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks Brad!

This cabin is brand new. Absolutely spotless! It's on a large lot with a small beach, two kayaks and a canoe in a protected bay. Our dog loved it, too!

I loved my stay at Bear Camp! The cabin was beautiful, bright, airy, and extremely clean. It was well-designed to have everything you need, with great little details like a night-light at the bottom of the stairs and lots of wall hooks to hang up outdoor gear. The area was quiet and private, without being secluded (there is a 2nd cabin on the lot and neighbors through the trees, including the host), which was perfect for my solo stay. I especially appreciated that kayaks and a well-stocked fire pit were provided. I had a great time exploring the lake in one of the kayaks, which you can easily do directly in front of the cabin. I also enjoyed hiking and swimming in Peaks-Kenny State Park (about 30 min. drive away), and it was an easy 20-min. drive from the cabin to get to a grocery store, post office, etc. in the town of Dover-Foxcroft. Brad was a fantastic host, and this cabin was exactly what I was hoping for to have a relaxing getaway in nature. I couldn't have been happier! I'm hoping to stay here again in the next year or two.

Getaway on the Lake

This place was on a dirt road with lake access, but Brad gave us great directions. This would be a great place to getaway and leave all the distractions behind. One of 2 new cabins on the lot. Super nice inside.

Christmas visit with grandkids

Very clean, exceptionally cozy cabin. My daughter and I were able to stay for a few days and visit with my grandson and his children in Milo. The cabin was very warm and comfortable on two of the coldest nights so far this winter! Beautiful spot and beautiful cabin!

Great location to the ATV Trails!

The cabin, with its pristine cleanliness and beautiful decor, was a delightful find. It was equipped with everything we needed and more. The ease of finding it, along with ample parking, added to our comfort. Plus, it was on an access riding trail! The location on the lake was also very nice. And to top it off, we unexpectedly met familiar faces in the area! We are already planning our next visit. Thanks!

Beautiful

This little cabin was perfect for my boyfriend, pup, and me. Had no trouble finding it, and it was right on the lake so we were able to do some ice fishing! Our sled broke down and Brad was nice enough to offer help/borrow tools to fix it! His dogs were adorable. We didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend this spot for a little getaway, we booked it last second and have no regrets. Thanks again Brad!!

Maine Adventure

Very Peaceful! Felt like it was a brand new cabin. Cabin made for a perfect home base. From here we would travel to all the destinations we wanted to and then come back to the cabin each day. On one particular morning within an hour's drive toward Millinocket, we saw 4 moose (1 mamma with 2 babies and a bull moose later on), 5 turkeys, 2 rough grouse, 1 fisher, 1 New England cottontail, 1 gray fox, and 2 deer. We also visited a Wolf Preserve, took a boat ride on Moosehead Lake, and went to Acadia National Park. Wildflowers were incredible like the Orange Hawkweed we came across on the Law Farm Hiking Trail nearby.

Privacy and nature.

If you want to relax, this is the place for you! The cabin is as pictured in the listing and sits at the edge of a gorgeous lake. Brad is an excellent host and the cabin is very clean and very comfortable. You will find the cabin at the end of a private lane past a number of quiet cabins lakeside. If arriving after dark you may want to contact Brad - it is a dirt lane. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need for meal prep while you are there. The AC upstairs kept the whole cabin cool with 30 C temperatures. The beds would comfortably sleep 6 without the couch. The stairs may be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues (see picture provided) and ladies may want to pack a hairdryer. Other than that, a fantastic stay in a new cabin and a gracious host!

Cabin was immaculate! The host lived next door and came over to see if we needed anything. He was great and his dogs were a big hit with my grandsons. The location is beautiful and very peaceful. I hope to visit there again, hopefully for a longer visit.

This cabin is very thoughtfully laid out and has everything you need for a comfortable get-away. Whether you want to unplug and enjoy the quiet or relax and watch a game or spend some time outdoors exploring nature, it offers all these great options. Host is friendly and helpful, as are his super sweet dogs! Definitely worth the price.
