About the host
Hosted by Brenda Lundquist
Originally from CT and Cape Cod, we discovered the peace, quiet and beauty of Maine in 2010 when we ran a small hunting lodge on the Pleasant River. We decided to move here full time in 2016 and purchased this property as the 3rd owners and live happily with our 3 dogs and guests who visit, some year after year.
Why they chose this property
Well, the pictures don't do the space justice. All our guests are wowed by the view as they round the corner on the driveway, cross the causeway of the pond and see the lodge and cabin set up. It is so quiet and peaceful here you will only hear yourselves and the wind in the trees. Only 4 miles away from civilization for necessities. The cabins face the western sky and the sunsets are spectacular. You can even see the ISS flying over at times.
What makes this property unique
Snowmobile from your cabin to Maine's trail system in the winter,
enjoy the beautiful spring and summer weather, wildlife and activities the area has to offer. And fall is about as picturesque as can be with gorgeous colorful day trips to Moosehead Lake region and Baxter State park. Or, a trip to Bar Harbor is a great way to explore the coastline and then return to the woods of Maine.
Whether it be a trip to the mountains for a hike or a visit to the coastline, we are centrally located to make every adventure a possibility.
