This cozy lake house was perfect for our family of six. It was close to our relatives and was on a quiet part of the lake. We enjoyed the kayaks and Renee was an excellent host!
What a lovely vacation property! The online listing really doesn't do it justice. Very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you could want. The ideal place to stay if you're looking for quiet relaxation. The owner, Renee, was very responsive and also respected our privacy. I will definitely be returning!
My mom and I spent a weekend at Mark and Renee's home and it was perfect. The house is just as described and everything was extremely clean. The home and property was so peaceful and relaxing and we slept so well. I would love to rent again, especially in the summer to really enjoy the lake. Staying here was the best way to enjoy a mini-vacation in my hometown. Thank you Mark and Renee for the hospitality!

It was a pleasure meeting and hosting you. Hope to see you again in the future!
We had a lovely stay at this home right on the lake. It has a wonderful open floor plan with pretty knotty pine floors, tongue and groove walls and white quartz countertop. Renee and Mark were right next door and very nice. I recommend this property! Diane
This was a fantastic property to stay at while visiting family for Thanksgiving. The property was immaculate, the interior design is lovely with spectacular views. Kitchen was well stocked and even had a Welcome basket. Bed was very comfortable and heat system was fine during the cold weather. Grocery, convenient, hardware/supply stores are right down the street. Easy drive to Peterborough NH and points north. We will definitely be looking into a summer stay in the future to enjoy the Lake.
The property was just as advertised and very clean.. Two dissapointsments I had were that there were no hand rails on the steps from top deck to the botton deck and the side deck to the beach as we were 3 elderly ladies having something to hold onto would have been great. The other is that I would have wanted more sunshine on the beach & water.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us, you and your guests were a pleasure to have. We would also like to thank you for your honest feed back. We will need to look into trimming the trees back a bit and although there are only a couple stairs we will look at making them more friendly by installing a hand rail.
We had a wonderfully relaxing experience at this lakefront property. It was so nice having the owners, Renée, Mark, and their dog Annie, right next door. They were very responsive if we had any questions.
My family really loved the private beach, dock and raft. The lake is very clean, no weeds. We were on the section of the lake called the narrows (a no wake area). It was very safe for water activities. My grandchildren loved doing cannon balls off the raft, using the kayaks and fishing off the dock.
There was plenty of seating outdoors to enjoy nature and accommodate our entire family and guest. We saw hummingbirds, robins, hawks, and a bright yellow bird, we speculate was a finch or prairie warbler. Nothing like waking up to the sound of chirping birds.
The inside accommodations were comfortable and very clean. The photos in the listing provided a true representation of each room. Our favorite room, was the living room overlooking the lake.
Thanks, Renee and Mark
My husband and I rented this lovely home on Lake Monomonac for two weeks and wish it had been a month! The home has everything you’ll need, a lovely beach area, and comfortable furniture and mattresses! Our son and daughter-in-law stayed with us the second week and were equally impressed! Renee and Mark are great hosts! We had a wonderful vacation!!!
This lake home was warm and inviting, cozy, and fun! We took advantage of what was offered...kayaking, fishing, horseshoes, grilling, and games. The home was clean and stocked with essentials. Highly recommended.
The cottage was very well kept and comfy. Beautiful view of the lake as soon as you entered the front door due to a wall of windows. The cottage was very well supplied with everything you would need. Met owner Rebecca and her dog Annie she was very informative and pleasant. We had a relaxing vacation a little too chilly for swimming but very peaceful.
We enjoyed our time at this beautiful lake house. The house was super clean and was well stocked with everything we needed. We loved our view of the lake from the big windows. The access right off the deck to the water was so convenient for kayaking and swimming. It was also great knowing that Renee and Mark were next door in case anything went wrong, but we also had our privacy as well. We would highly recommend staying at this lovely lake house!
The place felt so magical. The moment we walked in, all the stress just melted away. Looking out over the lake from our many living spaces was peaceful and fulfilling. And seeing it was so important since most of the weekend rained! But our lovely hostess made sure we carved some time to get on the water. And when we realized we’d forgotten some supplies, Renee helped us out making our stay feel smooth and easy. Can’t say enough. We expect to be back again. Thank you, Renee & Mark!!
Our a granddaughter graduated from Franklin Pierce UN Saturday May 15, 2001 . This cottage was the perfect setting for our CA & TN families to enjoy the five days. The hosts were very accommodating, the setting in tge lake was peaceful. Kids fished Kayaked. We’d love to visit again some time.
