Beautiful, clean, pet-friendly home right on Highland Lake in Bridgton. We loved this place - updated, well-kept, with lots of big windows looking out over this beautiful lake. Canoes & kayaks for a serene paddle up and down the lake, fishing right off the pier if your so inclined, or just enjoy an evening libation in the adirondack chairs. Highlight was the sound of loons in the evening, every night! We loved this home, and you will too!

We had a lovely stay at Kathy’s home. We hadn’t been back to the area in many years and this was a comfortable and enjoyable home to stay in while we took in the memories that Highland Lake brings for us. We plan to be back again!

Absolutely stunning property

Private, beautiful, everything we wanted for a peaceful family getaway. All the rooms had a spectacular view of the lake, and we looked forward to getting up every single day to enjoy the water. Thank you again!!

House was beautiful! We loved the location in Bridgton, close to shops, restaurants, church. The proximity to the water was amazing, so nice to sit out on the docks with coffee or a glass of wine and watch the boats go by. The house itself was lovely, plenty of room for our group of 6 with stocked updated kitchen and lots of bedroom space for all. We were fortunate to have fantastic weather as well; definitely one of our best vacation weeks ever!

This lake home has all the modern conveniences (great kitchen) while also maintaining a rustic cabin vibe. It's lovely, comfortable, and sits right on the waters edge. The screened in porch feels like you are right over the water; very enjoyable for reading. The deck has 3 levels where the sun hits at different times of the day. It has a separate beach where you can launch kayaks or a canoe. The lake water is clear and we used the kayaks to explore the lake daily. The vibrant Bridgeton downtown was an unexpected surprise where it had several restaurants, shops, and art. We really enjoyed our stay and Kathy was a gracious host.

Very nice property, beautiful views, secluded and comfortable. Bedrooms are decent size and kitchen/family room is large and very functional. Amenities like kitchen items, trash/recycling bins, etc. are OK but not great. Driveway has a few embedded rocks that can scrape the bottom of your car. Gorgeous views of the sunrise.

Beautiful, comfortable, spacious house on lake

House was clean and modern with cozy touches, lots of space, comfortable beds, a well-appointed kitchen, and beautiful expansive views of the lake. Especially appreciated were the huge screen porch, the kayaks and canoes that were available for our use, the closeness of the house to the water, and the resident ducks. The location of the property was excellent—just a five-minute drive from downtown Bridgton and the Hannafords on Route 302 and about a half-hour’s drive to Conway and the Kancamagus Highway. (The outlet stores in North Conway are about as close but are very skippable, in this reviewer’s opinion.) The house’s owners were extremely responsive and helpful.

Wonderful lakefront cottage. Kitchen well equiped and large enough for feeding 8.Beds comfortable. The host kept in touch with us and was very clear about directions and the set up of the house. The driveway is dirt and a little rugged if you don't have an SUV type clearance. The lake is crystal clear and not very busy for the week before July 4th. The only caviate I have is that the dock is small and too high for the water level - no jumping or diving. There is a cove with a sandy beach but the wading in gets a bit mucky. Would not bring very young children or poor swimmers. All in all, we loved it.
