2 bedrooms each with firm, pillow top queen beds, linens, quilts and pillows provided at no additional cost. 1 single bed on sun porch. Large couch with queen pullout couch. Queen air mattress if needed. 1 bathroom with shower/tub combo. Full size washer/dryer and disheasher in kitchen. Pet friendly. Everything you need for cooking, full stove, refrigerator, microwave, pots and pans, new dishes, dishwasher and utensils. Fenced in yard for dogs. Beach chairs, beach/bath towels, boogie boards, umbrellas and beach wagon available. Outside seating area, gas grill and fire pit. Off-street parking for 2 vehicles and additional on-street free parking. 7-10 min walk to the beach. 5 min drive to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and return the keys
Checkout is 10am. Leave doors unlocked and keys on the tkitchen table. Cleaning crew will be there shortly and afternoon guests will be checking in at 3pm. Late checkout must be approved prior to stay
Make sure all food is removed from the refrigerator and cupboards. Wash all dishes and return them to the proper cupboards. Take out all trash to outside bins and separate and clean all recycling.
Strip all beds of used linen and towels and put by washer. If there are used linen and towels, leave them in the bedrooms. If pets have been accompanied, please use the vacuum and remove excess hair.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Renters were great! Expressed gratitude for clean accommodations and closeness to the beach. Available beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and beach wagon to transport gear. Gas grill for family grilling and picnicking. Now ability to sleep 8 comfortably.

Nice beach apartment

This property is a first floor apartment within walking distance to the beach and Palace Playland. It is pet friendly and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful host - great location

The house is great. Great location within a short walk to the beach. Lisa provides everything needed for a day at the beach including S’mores for the kids. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the back yard area is a nice hangout with the fire pit and picnic table. Will definitely stay with Lisa again.

First off, the pics here do Not do this place justice. It is a thoughtfully decorated charming beach house. The neighborhood was quiet and we had everything we could need (cooking utensils, beach towels, beach wagon, boogie boards, etc.). Spending time here was the much needed calming experience my family needed away from the busy city (2 adults, 2 teens, & 1 preschooler). The host is responsive and went above and beyond suggesting some activities in the area. We highly recommend this rental.

Quaint Maine cottage in nice neighborhood

Clean, 2 bedroom cottage. Secure, fenced in yard for our dogs. Very dog friendly, walkable neighborhood. Owner and other renter on property and very quiet.Great communication by owner and made sure we had what we needed.Lawn could have used a mow and some de-weeding, but the front porch made up for it with no need for air conditioning with open windows with screens.

Wonderful house

We really enjoyed staying here! The house was in good shape, it had nice common areas to hang out with friends, and the fire pit for s'mores was a great bonus. The kitchen was well-equipped and a pleasure to cook in (note: you may need to re-plug in some of the stove burners if they aren't working). Lisa was very communicative and helpful. Thanks for an amazing vacation!

Great spot perfect house

The house was awesome just far enough away from the pier in a quiet neighborhood but not too far that it was a process getting there. Yard was awesome for our two dogs and the house was perfect for the dogs my wife and young son . I didnt realize at first it was an apartment but that honestly didnt affect our stay one bit and was completely on me because the listing says apartment on it. Owners were great with communicating and allowed us to bring the second dog which was a relief. I definitely recommend!

Home-y Comfort

Very quiet street just far enough away from the traffic and entertainment. Although there was a bit of a walk to the beach, pier, and surrounding attractions, it wasn’t bad! Uphill on the way home was the only negative after a long day. The space was very homey and all 7 adults (2 couples) were able to sleep in their own spaces. Only one bathroom slowed us down a bit, but the beds and couches are comfy, and the kitchen was stocked with essentials we needed to prepare a few meals. Glad we found this place so last minute for such a large group! Definitely recommend. .

Cozy, clean, and relaxing

Stayed here with my husband, 8yo, and mother. The location was offset from the hustle bustle of the busier part of this town but easily walkable/bikeable to anything which was perfect. Good central location for driving to lots of other towns and sights. The actual apartment was spacious, airy, clean, and had everything we would need. Window blinds needed some minor updates and maybe some things were slightly outdated but honestly not a big deal because everything was so clean. Communication with the owner was easy- very responsive and friendly. We would stay here again for sure!

Cozy apartment cottage

The rental had two bedrooms, a living room with a pullout couch, and porch with a bed and a large couch. There is a backyard fire pit with chairs, firewood provided, and a functioning grill. The owner is nice enough to provide linens and towels, and thoughtfully provides things like soap, dishwasher detergent, some spices and other cooking needs. She even provided us with marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers for s’more‘s, as well as a complementary bottle of wine. The beach is a short walk, but the pier is more of a bike or drive situation. It’s only about 1.5 tops. The kids and I had a lovely time, we would return.

Why they chose this property

Reed Cottage is close to the beach, enough to hear the waves crash at night, but far enough away to enjoy quiet time with the family. 7-10 min walk to the beach and an additional 5 minutes to the pier, restaurants, bars and amusement park. Pet Friendly! We love our family fur members and understand when guests want to have theirs accompany them to OOB.
