Fountainhead Towers 1208 in uptown Ocean City, Maryland, on 116th street oceanfront is the ideal place to book your summer vacation or weekend getaway. Featuring wonderful ocean views from the 12th floor, you can relax and bask in the sights and sounds of the waves at your leisure. The notable bonus of Fountainhead being the additional bayside balcony which provides you with a western horizon and sensational sunsets! This condo has the amenities you need including cable and wifi, a fully-equipped kitchen and a washer dryer. This spacious one bedroom condo with a den accommodates up to six guests with bedding including 1 queen, 2 singles and a queen sleep sofa. Fountainhead Towers boasts numerous amenities including an oceanfront outdoor pool, tennis court, pickle ball, a gas grill that can be rented from the building, convenient elevators and an outdoor shower. The location is great as you are not far from Northside Park, and close to grocery and clothes shopping, restaurants and a fitness center.
Guest must supply sheets, towels, soaps and paper products. An optional linen package is available for purchase for this property and would be delivered to the condo on your day of arrival and picked up on your day of departure. The package would include sheet sets for each bed and towel sets equaling the maximum occupancy of the condo. This property's check-in/out days are Sunday and Thursday in-season and any 2nights off season.
Fountainhead Towers requires a $60.00 non-refundable bldg registration fee due upon arrival.
Non-smoking. No pets, please. Property owner does not permit group rentals to guests under the age of 25.

Beautiful, spacious 1BR oceanfront condo

We had a wonderful mini-week at this lovely condo at the Fountainhead! It was very clean, spacious, and a spectacular view. There were 5 of us who visited (2 were kids) and all slept comfortably. The Fountainhead's pool was a huge plus. During our stay, the Fountainhead community there was courteous and welcoming. It was helpful to have the convenience of shops and grocery store right across the street! Overall a great property with many helpful amenities:)

What a great beach front condo with amazing views of the ocean and bay. The balcony on the bay side was great for storing our beach chairs and umbrella. It's nice not to have to take all of that through the condo. The condo as well as the whole building was clean and very well maintained. The only minor downside we found was the pool closes at 8pm nightly which seems early for a vacation town. There is always plenty of parking. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Ocean City.

Nice place to stay

Overall it was a great place to stay. The check in process at both places was efficient and easy. The condo was clean and inviting with beach decor. The balconies were amazing for sunrises and sunsets. Beach was very close and the pool area was very clean and had many lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas.The older gentleman at the pool checking for pool tags was wonderful and welcoming. We enjoyed the fact the television was not a smart tv so we spent more time enjoying the surroundings and not falling into the habit of turning on Hulu or Netflix in the evening. Beach chairs and a beach umbrella was a plus and appreciated. Would stay here again.

Beautiful and spacious unit with stunning views!

My husband and I were very impressed with this spacious one bedroom with den unit. It was tastefully decorated and had a nice layout. The oversized balcony had ample seating with beautiful ocean views. The kitchen was well stocked with all your cooking needs. The location is convenient and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and activities. My only complaint would be that the carpets were worn and stained in some areas, but it wouldn't deter me from renting this unit in the future. The check in process was smooth and the staff courteous. Overall, I would highly recommend this unit that can easily accommodate four people.

Very nice Condo

This was our First time staying at Fountainhead and was impressed of how clean the condo was. We loved both balconys you could watch the sun rise and the sunset on the bayside. Pool was very nice. Location was perfect. It was near everything. My only disappointment was we were not able to use the wifi. We were given a password and it kept coming up invalid. We notified central reservations and they said the emailed the owners twice but no response. We did not have access to thier beach chairs because we did not have a key to get into the bayside storage closet. Other than that we had a great stay!

Perfect Vacation

Nice unit, very clean. Beautiful new carpet. I was afraid of getting it soiled and made everyone eat out on the balcony, which had a great view and the weather was perfect. I would gladly have run the vacuum to keep the sand out, but it needed emptied and I was afraid of making a mess trying to empty it. We tried to keep as much sand out as we could by storing all beach items on the balcony across the hall and taking shoes off before entering the unit. Perhaps the cleaning service could check on emptying the vacuum. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Newer bath and kitchen. Plenty of space. We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful view but in need of some TLC

The view from the ocean balcony was beautiful. We had a lot of fun on the beach which was steps away and at the pool, where there was always seats available which is nice to put your stuff down. The condo itself definitely needs some tlc. The floor is sloped, the toilet handle needs to be jiggled to stop it from running and you have to be careful with the shower curtain and shower head or the bathroom floods. A majority of the verticle blinds are missing from the deck window so if you're sleeping in the living room be prepared to be woken up by the sun shining in your eyes very early (which I would have loved watching the sunrise if we hadn't been out so late in the boardwalk). Also you can only use certain detergents in the washer, which would have been nice to know ahead of time to save a trip out to get a different boyne of detergent because ours was on the no no list. Overall we had a great time, it's a great location and would be absolutely perfect if they gave the unit the face-lift it truly needs.

Comfortable stay for the beach all day

We were very happy with this condo unit. Being able to close off the den when needed was very nice! The unit was clean with most amenities you would need. Being able to use the beach chairs and accessories was a pleasant surprise.

The property was very quiet and welcoming. The view was breathtaking. Love the option of the bayside view and oceanview. The beach supplies in the bayside deck was great wish I knew before packing. The Television in the room needed a little upgrading. Also the couch bed needs a new mattress. Overall I had a great time and will definitely rent again.

3rd great stay at this property!

Overall another great stay at this property. Cleanliness was great throughout the property with the exception that I found 3 pans, a pot, a bowl and a spoon that were all encrusted with egg? or some unidentifiable substance. I would not expect that the cleaning service would even have checked those but just a PSA to all renters to PLEASE clean up your mess so the next renters don't have to clean your dishes :D

3rd stay here

This was our 3rd stay in this unit. Last 2 times were great. This time, not so much. Check in process was smooth, check in location is at 6200 Coastal Hwy. It only took 10 minutes to get to the fountainhead. That evening we were sitting on the oceanside balcony. I went to walk into the unit, and saw something small run accross the floor to under the sofa. My husband lifted the sofa, but nothing came out. 2 days later, I saw it running accross the living room floor and called for my husband. He was able to kill it. It was a baby mouse. I couldn't figure how there was a mouse on the 12th floor, but I know if there's a baby mouse, then there's more. I called the contact phone number I had and reported it and was told they would let the owner know, but I never heard anything back about it from anyone. One other thing to note, the threshold between the den and hallway, has a nail that is sticking up a bit. The last time we were there it was also and my daughter cut her foot on it. I reported that too, but I guess it never got taken care of. We just put one of the throw rugs over it this time. Other than those things everything was just fine with the unit, but I do wish someone would have addressed our concerns we reported.

We had a great stay! Very clean and perfect location! There was plenty of room for our family of 5. The only negative thing I would say is the master bed is super hard and uncomfortable. But all and all a great stay! Would recommend!

Great location with wonderful views

The condo was clean and comfortable, exactly as pictured. Great location close to everything. Called about toilet not working properly when we got to room, received a call back saying maintenance had left and would come next day to fix- never did. Check in went fine but not convenient to go to another location to get lock information and pool tags and then having to return them to that location before leaving. Parking convenient at rental property although when paying $40 parking fee security wanted "$40 cash money " with no change available for a $50 bill. Just thought it odd to talk to guests like that. All in all we did enjoy our stay with great ocean views.
