Luxury Eco-Retreat, Historic Redlands, Orange Blossom Views, Near Kimberly Crest
Greenbriar Cottage is a completely private guest suite (a private wing of our home), not the entire house. There are no shared spaces, and the experience is contactless.
You’ll have your own bedroom + bathroom + hallway and private entry—about 550 sq ft total. The bedroom is ~130 sq ft and is thoughtfully designed for a comfortable stay, but it is cozy in size.
Inside you’ll find a queen bed with luxury linens, a small work/dining table, fast Wi-Fi, a Smart TV (please plan to use your own streaming logins—none are provided; the TV is reset after each stay), games, and plenty of outlets.
Simple kitchenette setup: mini-fridge + microwave (in the closet area). Keurig is in the bathroom.
We stock snacks, drinks, and breakfast items, plus seasonal flowers and—when in season—local citrus or orange juice. Contactless check-in via coded keypad. We’re available by message and can help with refills and fresh towels for longer stays, but we’re not usually on-site.
Optional extra bed: a single trundle is available only if requested in advance (it requires reconfiguring the room).
Please note: the entrance has steps, and the bathroom has a tub/shower.

Clean and quiet neighborhood. Ample parking and a grocery store very close by. Thoughtfully curated artworks make this rental suited more to an older audience. About ten minutes from Crafton Hills College, a very easy commute and this is a great place to stay if you have business at the college. And p.s. Great water pressure in the shower!
The room was small but beautiful and had everything you can possibly need. The host, John, was responsive with my needs and very friendly. I will definitely stay there again when I return to the area!
Thank you John!

Thank you so much for your review, and we are so thrilled you enjoyed your stay. You are welcome back anytime!
The space is very small but it was perfect as a home base for a short weekend trip. It was a comfortable night's sleep and the shower had ample water pressure! Quiet neighborhood. The host put a lot of work into the decor of the space and provided a lot of amenities (cold water, seltzers, snacks, etc). The host was also very communicative. I would stay here again.

Thank you, I'm thrilled you enjoyed--you are welcome back any time!
Cute little place; very artsy and close to everything! Great, safe and gorgeous neighborhood. Host easy to contact and work with. Place appears clean and comfortable. Soaps smell great! One “issue” is that you can immediately smell cats upon opening the door. We did not find any hair or cats, but I would assume they are on the other side of the residence. (This residence, is shared, but blocked off with a private entrance.)Nice towels and robes to use. Mini fridge stocked and snacks provided. Makes for a comfortable stay.

Thank you for your stay! I cannot think of where the sensation of cats came from--we have a strict no pets policy and there are no pets on the premises.

Why they chose this property
Redlands is a hidden gem, often called the "Napa Valley of Citrus" for its rich agricultural history. The neighborhood surrounding Greenbriar Cottage is steeped in the beauty of one of the last 10-acre orange groves in city limits, Prospect Park, Kimberly Crest, breathtaking mountain views, and historic architecture that harks back to the elegance of the Gilded Age, when Redlands was the "Palm Springs of the Gilded Age." I love how the town blends historic charm with a lively modern culture, offering everything from boutique shopping to live music at the iconic Redlands Bowl. The sense of community and natural beauty make this neighborhood a truly special place to call home and share with guests.
