About this property
Canyon Ridge Retreat| hot tub, mins from Zion
Welcome to Canyon Ridge Retreat, a luxurious 3,500 sq ft haven nestled in the exclusive Zion Ridge gated community. Just minutes from Zion National Park's east entrance, this 4-bedroom oasis offers unparalleled access to nature's wonders. Perfectly positioned for adventure, you're 1.5 hours from Bryce Canyon's hoodoos and 2.5 hours from the Grand Canyon's North Rim. But the real magic? Step into your backyard and onto the Checkerboard Rim Trail for an instant immersion in Utah's breathtaking forested landscape. After a day of exploration, unwind in your private hot tub under a canopy of stars, surrounded by the tranquility of the pine-scented woods.
As you step into Canyon Ridge Retreat, the grandeur of the vaulted ceilings in the living room immediately draws your eye upward, creating a sense of spaciousness that mirrors the vast Utah skies visible through the towering pines outside. Sink into the large, comfortable sectional with reclining features - the perfect spot for losing yourself in a good book or simply gazing out at the stunning forest views through the large windows.
The heart of the home is undoubtedly the gourmet kitchen. Gleaming granite countertops stretch out before you, inviting culinary creativity. The high-end Wolf appliances stand ready to assist in preparing everything from quick trail snacks to elaborate family feasts. The large island isn't just for food prep – it's a gathering spot, perfect for sipping morning coffee or enjoying appetizers while dinner sizzles on the BBQ just outside on the wrap-around deck.
Speaking of the deck, it's an extension of your living space. Covered areas provide shade for outdoor dining or relaxation, while open sections let you bask in the dappled sunlight filtering through the forest canopy. Don't be surprised to spot local wildlife – deer and wild turkeys are frequent visitors, adding to the sense that you're truly immersed in nature.
When it's time to retire, four well-appointed bedrooms await. The upstairs primary suite is a retreat within a retreat, featuring a private balcony for stargazing through the pine boughs and a jetted tub to soothe tired muscles after a day of hiking. The second upstairs bedroom offers two queen beds, perfect for kids or friends sharing. Downstairs, you'll find two more bedrooms, each boasting a king-size bed for ultimate comfort. For additional sleeping space, the loft area features a pull-out sofa, offering flexibility for larger groups. But the luxury doesn't stop there. A brand new hot tub beckons, promising relaxation as you soak under the stars, perhaps planning your next day's adventure while listening to the gentle rustling of leaves in the evening breeze.
Every detail of Canyon Ridge Retreat has been thoughtfully designed to provide the perfect blend of luxury and comfort, all while keeping you connected to the natural beauty that surrounds you. Whether you're here to explore the wonders of Zion, Bryce, and beyond, or simply to escape the everyday and reconnect with family and friends amid the serenity of the forest, this home offers the ideal setting for creating lasting memories.

Beautiful home with 3 of the bedrooms having their own private bathroom. The hosts were very caring by reaching out during our stay and making sure we were happy with everything. They made sure everything was stocked well and even had additional items for things we may have forgotten. Great location for visiting Zion and Bryce. Close to the UTV tour to Peak-a-Boo Slot Canyon with ROAM which I highly recommend.
The house was beautiful! The kitchen has everything you need and we cooked everyday. So close to the fun excursions of East Zion and Zion. We did canyoneering, the narrows, peek a boo slot canyon, horseback riding, sand boarding at coral sands and repelling. Depending on your plans, the only downside was the internet. Watching tv was frustrating as the services paused continuously. The spa was great after hiking.
It is a beautiful and spacious house. Three bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom, plus a fourth bedroom. The hot tub was very nice, no problems with it at all. For a quick meal the Ponderosa Ranch is very close by. Kitchen has everything you need.
Peaceful property very clean beautiful home pictures are accurate. They have everything you could possibly ever need. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. We even had wild turkeys visit each night. We highly recommend this place!
The house is fabulous and the best stocked I’ve ever stayed in. We only stayed a few days and wished we could have stayed longer!! You have everything!
It was phenomenal! Everything you can think of, it was provided! Each huge bedroom had its own huge bathroom. It was a beautiful home to stay in. We loved every inch of everything!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home is extremely clean and comfortable. Also, the proximity to Zion was very convenient. After being in the Parks for multiple days, in the evenings we chose not to travel to restaurants for meals and brought our food instead. The kitchen had all of comforts of home so super easy.
The only thing we found a bit challenging is the connectivity for cell phones. We are Verizon customers and found we could not make any phone calls using cell connectivity. However, we were able to FT for calls. Texts worked on/off. Maybe it is limited to just Verizon customers...guess small price to pay for beautiful scenery...

Great vacation home for quiet evenings after eventful days at Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyon!
Well maintained home with every creature comfort you could want.
Place was well stocked with essential supplies. Resort amenities were nice to have as alternatives to the great hiking in the area. Great spot to stay away from the busy Springdale. Great family spot.
The Wooden Castle (our adopted name for this property).
This house was amazing. The beds were so comfortable. The jacuzzi was large and in perfect shape. The house is so well appointed there was literally nothing a person could want for. The grounds are wooded, and the beautiful windows allwed for breathtaking views in all rooms. I hope we can return soon.
We had a great time staying at this incredible home. It was clean, well maintained, fully stocked with everything you could need and in a beautiful setting that feels very secluded.
Super convenient to Zion! Two families stayed for four nights. We had plenty of space and all the amenities! Highly recommend this beautiful home!
Thank you for the hospitality!

About the host
Hosted by Alex and Vanessa Pavlides
Vanessa’s family built their vacation cabin on the borderline of Zion National Park in the mid-1970’s. As a child, she spent many summers hiking, exploring & enjoying the magical land of Zion. The area created special memories with family and friends; holding a special place in her heart. When Vanessa started a family of her own it was no surprise she brought them to the area; sharing the magic of her childhood with her own family. Hiking familiar trails and discovering new secrets became harder and harder to leave. Soon she and her husband, Alex, realized each visit was never long enough. In 2020 it was time to make Zion their home. Their love & knowledge of the area ensures their guests experience the magic of the Zion area just like a local. No matter how long or short the stay; everyone is guaranteed a unique experience. Breathtaking vistas, towering cliffs cast in rainbow patterns, sand in your shoes, canyons that wind on in maze-like patterns… it’s all here. Waiting to become unforgettable memories.
