Great location and check-in. We enjoyed the kayaks that came with the rental of the property.Access to two fire pits was nice as well. Our pup enjoyed it too!
Cozy little place. Excellent location with access and a dock on Platt Lake. Great proximity to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Very scenic drives. Bathroom was very tight quarters but did the job. The beds were okay. Would stay again. Water delivery and dispenser were a nice bonus
This property and facilities was perfect for our group of five people. Access to the beach was a real plus. The cabin was well maintained, clean, comfortable and had all the space we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and we were plesantly supprised to see how well it was supplied. We definately plan to book this cabin again. Our host was excellent and stayed in touch with us to make sure our stay was great.
The cabin is quaint and quiet. It does have a small view of the lake although we stayed in the winter so not able to review how the dock or any outside amenities are. Cabin temperature was ok for it's age and being in the north. We did not stay in the upstairs rooms but when we checked on them they were only a little bit cold, not bad. Had a drinking water tank as well as hot water for the shower. Only real issue was some lights being out but didn't bother us. The upstairs has an a/c unit we were told so this cabin should be excellent in the summer.

Thank you for your kind words, Sarah! We're so glad you enjoyed the cabin's charm, cozy atmosphere, and amenities during your winter stay. Your feedback on the lights is much appreciated, and we're already working on it. The cabin is truly special in the summer with the lake and outdoor features, so we’d love to welcome you back to experience it then. See you again—safe travels!

Cottage
This was an older cottage that was fairly tidy, but with a bathroom that was in desperate need of cleaning. The remainder of the home was decent with the exception of the fact that the back door does not lock. You can easily push it open. The bathroom smells as though there is a science project of mold growing under the rocks in the shower. It appears as though they’re attempting an upgrade, but the contact paper Rock treatment to the walls would have been better left off.We had to keep the bathroom door shut and the window in the bathroom open and order to keep the smell at bay. My daughter refused to shower. I think if they can figure out a different scenario with the restroom, it will be a much better location.
