Family & Pet friendly Bird House near Fall Creek Falls

Welcome to The Bird House and thank you in advance for considering us as your home away from home during your travels. We understand you have many options and appreciate you looking at our guest house where you’ll find just about everything you need. The Bird House is on the property with one other house. Both houses share a drive way, but do not share yards or parking. Once at the Bird House, it is a very private and quiet space.
Starting when you pull in, you'll notice the property is in the woods and is surrounded by trees and plenty of wildlife. Early mornings and evenings there are always deer around. There is a fire pit where you can enjoy roasting hot dogs and marshmallows or just sit around on the benches or make use of the picnic table to eat outdoors while enjoying the crackle and pop of the burning logs from the firewood provided.

When you walk up the steps onto your deck, you'll immediately see bistro patio furniture and a 2 burner propane grill just in case you feel like cooking out one evening!

Enter the house through the French doors and you're inside the fully equipped kitchen, side-by-side refrigerator, dishwasher (there is dawn and dishwasher detergent under the sink), tempered glass topped stove, microwave, toaster, dishes, pots and pans and utensils, and my favorite, the coffee station!! Here you can brew an entire pot or use the Keurig to brew coffee, tea, or cocoa by the cup. You'll also find a fully furnished, complimentary, k-cup tree, cream, and raw sugar & stevia. There is also a snack basket.
There is a table and chairs and a bar with stools so there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the foods you prepare!
You'll also notice a laundry closet in the kitchen with a washer and dryer and laundry detergent and hypoallergenic fabric softner sheets available included In case you're enjoying your meal outdoors., there are also picnic dishes in the laundry area.

Now, if you'll move with me into the living area, you'll find a very comfortable sofa and lobe seat (plenty of space for everyone to sit), a coffee table, a 42" TV, smart TV with Angel Studios, Great American Pure Flix, Prime, and many other apps, and high speed Wifi internet. However, if you're trying to disconnect, you'll also find books and board games in the cabinet.

Down the hall, you'll find a coat rack, a map of Fall Creek Falls, and access to both bedrooms.
The bedroom to your left is the Master bedroom. Here you'll find a queen size bed (that doesn't squeak) with a memory foam mattress, a walk in closet with hangers, and a full bathroom that provides clean towels & wash cloths, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion, and of course toilet paper.
Across the hall is the second bedroom. It too is a queen Seally mattress (that doesn't squeak), a closet with hangers, and a full bathroom with fresh clean towels & wash cloths, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. This bathroom is also accessible from the kitchen. If you forgot anything else, check under the sink, it just might be there.

Every room is equipped with ceiling fans, lamps, & over head lighting. There are plush throws also for your comfort.

This is a very quiet, family friendly, pet friendly environment. Come relax in the Bird House!

Please talk to us about your pets. We do charge a pet fee if you're bringing your fur baby. This is non-negotiable even if you have what is considered a hypo-allergenic pet like a poodle. However, it does reduce your pet fee.

Not all dogs are created equal. A 5lbs poodle is not equivalent to an 85 lbs Labrador. Tell us about your fur baby's breed and weight for more information.
