Wonderful stay!

My sister and I stayed here and couldn’t have been happier with the apartment, the neighborhood, and the proximity to attractions and metro stations. Yves was prompt with responding to my messages both pre-stay and during our stay. We will keep this gem in our back pocket when planning future trips to Paris!

Great place in a great city

Wonderful apartment in the 2nd of Paris. It is completely as advertised and previously positively reviewed, but better. We walked easily to all major sites, and could have easily used the Metro. For time critical reservations at some distance, we used Uber easily.

Very nice property

Very convenient and pleasant appartment in the centre of Paris, in a quiet part of a very lively neighbourhood, with easy access to all the major areas of the city. Very helpful and pleasant property manager.

Wonderful apartment and location.

So easy to walk from RER that goes to airport. Many restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. I was not feeling well so I spent much time in the apartment. I was very comfortable. Almost like being at home! The information binder was a great help. I would stay here again.

Lovely apartment

This apartment was so close to Paris city center, and was so comfortable. The air conditioning was perfect. The neighborhood is bustling with restaurants and nightlife and seemed very safe to us. The balcony was small but perfect for sitting outside at night and in the morning. Also having laundry in the unit was very helpful! This place is within walking distance to many Paris must sees. Overall we loved this place and would absolutely stay again in the future!

Wonderful Location and very well equipped apartment

We enjoyed our time in Yves' lovely apartment. It had everything one needs for a 2 week stay. The location was excellent with great restaurants close by. Main tourist attractions we saw by walking and the rest by metro, which were only 5 minutes away. The Nespresso Ventuo made really good coffee. We found a shop in Marais for those larger pods. The only issue is the checking in process where it is very difficult to see the codes to access the keys, as it sits in a mailbox. But we managed it eventually.

The Place to Stay

I cannot even begin to express how wonderful this place was. The checking in process was seamless, with Yves being super responsive and giving very clear instructions to follow. The place was very clean and looked even better than the pictures. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony during the morning! As for the location, it was perfect. Very close to a lot of great places to eat that were open late which was convenient for us. Plus everything we wanted to see was within a 5-25 minute bus/metro ride from the apartment. The neighbourhood felt super safe and the overall energy was lovely. If you get the chance, definitely book with them!

Great location, wonderful place for two

We stayed in this very nice apartment for 5 days in October. Located near many good places to eat. You can walk to the metro in less than 7 minutes on well traveled streets. Notre Dame is less than a 20 minute walk as is the Louvre. We only used the metro to go to the Eiffel Tower, Champs-elysees and Versailles. Only thing that kept it from being a 5 star rating was the shower which is awkward to get in and out of and could possibly cause a fall.

5 star location!

Our family of 3 stayed at this small but cozy apartment for 10 nights and had a fantastic time. The location is ideal - easy access on a quiet street but it intersects with some bustling market streets. We loved Rue Montorgueil and the Monoprix which were each only 3 minutes away. For exploring further, it's within a 5 minute walk to several metro stops. We frequently opted to walk because most of the major attractions (Louvre, Notre Dame, etc.) were an easy 15 minute walk. Apartment is exactly as described - well equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, easy climb up the stairs or elevator, and a cute little balcony (rare!) for sitting. As for the bar across the street, we did not have any problems with noise. It seemed more like an evening gathering spot for young professionals so while it was busy, it was never very loud. Also, André was easy to work with prior to our trip and we had no problems while we were there. We'd would most definitely stay here again!

Noisy!

The apt. itself was great – had everything needed and superb location near to everything. Owner was great and responsive to questions. Clean on arrival. No complaints at all about the physical space which was roomy for Paris, and no problems with the shower which I note others have commented about. The problem was the café across the street – the noise was appalling and went on every night until the wee hours, holding everyone in the environment hostage to the yelling, screaming and loud laughter which sounded like it was right outside the window (it literally was, no soundproofing). Impossible to leave the doors open at night, but no white noise came from the super ac system alas to cover the racket. The bedroom was the worst for noise as it’s directly opposite the café. When I googled this location initially it was vacant across the street, and there were few comments about noise, in fact people on the reviews said it was quiet so I’m assuming this is a recent opening. Too bad, as it is otherwise a great spot and not the owner’s fault, and I feel sorry for the permanent residents in the area. But Beware. Even earplugs didn’t blot this noise out and the volume just got worse and worse each night. I found myself praying for rain to shut down the outdoor space, but the weather was great while we were there and so it was unremitting every night. Prob fine in the winter, but wouldn’t recommend the location to anyone during the sidewalk table season. I’ve lived in a downtown location before so have been exposed to downtown noise but this was unfortunately so close… couldn’t do anything to mitigate it. I’d give this 5 stars without the café, but 2.5 currently as sleep is important…. Flew out early and got little sleep until the early a.m. hours, thanks to the café dwellers/yellers. Sorry Yves, no reflection on your hosting/upkeep which was great.

My wife, my sixteen year-old daughter and I had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The place is very comfortable and it had everything we needed for our week long visit. The AC was a bonus in the summer heat, and the sofa bed worked well for my daughter (no complaints). The best part about this place is the location. Easy walks to Notre-Dame, the Louvre, dozens of restaurants, the Metro, groceries, stores, etc. and we felt the neighborhood was safe. For anyone who likes to workout, there is a gym in the building next door which is handy and you can even see the Eiffel Tower in the distance from a window at the top of the stairwell. Communication with the owner was easy and we had no difficulties. Merci!

Best neighborhood in Paris

My sister and I in our 70’s stayed 12 nights in this fabulous apartment! So enjoyed coffee in the morning on the balcony and dining many times on Rus Montorguiel! We even survived the loudest night in Paris per year —Fete de Musique—thanks to the practically soundproof balcony doors!

My first impression of the apartment was that it was “dingy” not dirty just dark with all drab colors. There was no decor in the apartment that said “Welcome to Paris”. The small kitchen was over cluttered with no counter space. Two coffee makers a tea kettle were taking up the most space.

Excellent!

We had to contact the owner to answer a few questions. He was easy to reach. Apartment was terrific! Great neighborhood! Lively around all corners, but quiet on our street. Close to metro. Easy walking around. Clean. One thing: we couldn’t find the washer…it’s hidden behind a kitchen cupboard door! It worked great once we figured out where it was! We were very happy, and would stay there again!

A very pleasant stay

The apartment is well sized, the location is amazing. Very close to the metro which we used every day during our stay. The appliances are small, but that is to be expected for a small three room apartment. Check in was easy once we realized it was one door down from the car park. The location is insane and right in the beating heart of Paris. And there are plenty of amenities to make the stay feel better than a hotel. The nespresso was great, and being able to save left overs and buy some small grocery items let us experience products we never would have at home.
