About the host
Hosted by Lanni

My husband and I traveled all over the world (before we had kids!) and have received others' hospitality and we want to return that feeling. We have a wonderful mystical place set in a very safe wilderness area just outside of the city set on 30 private acres. We want you to explore the area and use our private trails and enjoy it here just as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
We are located in the heart of the recreational corridor of Marquette County. Meaning you are less than 10 miles from Sugar Loaf Mountain, Hogsback Mountain, Hidden Beach, Big Bay Fall Color Look-out, Alder Falls, Little Garlic Falls, Echo Nature Preserve, Eagles Nest Community Forest Trail, Saux Head Old Growth Forest, Wetmore Landing, Harlow Lake, Little Presque Isle- see what we mean?! We are halfway to Marquette (18 miles) and halfway to Big Bay (11 miles) where they filmed Anatomy of the Murder with James Stewart.
We live in a quiet and safe county road which is maintained year-round and directly off of a major highway straight to Marquette.
We fell in love with this property- situated on a hill top between the Huron Mountains and Lake Superior. You will meet all types of little wild creatures including song birds, owls, turkeys and deer.
We are in Marquette and will be close by.

What makes this property unique
When people first pull up they say, "Wow!". Even the UPS guy loves it here. It's just special because it's a little sanctuary and we do believe this is a spiritual refuge with positive vibes. It makes a difference to be rooted out of the city lights and hustle and then go into the city and visit.
We have a separate sauna building, a tree house for kids, a fire pit, a small playground for kids and plenty of space.
