Stunning Waterside Cottage in Poole Harbour

This fisherman's cottage is possibly in THE PERFECT location in Poole. Situated within a stones throw (literally) from the Sea, and right next to the Fisherman's Dock, with direct access to the sea side foot walk onto the Poole Quayside and Town Centre. There is an abundance of activities that you can book to include Fishing Trips, Dive Boats, Sailing Boats, Parascending and more, as well as fantastic array of bars and restaurants that cater for all ages and tastes. The two bedrooms both have stunning sea views, with the master bedroom looking out over the harbour and across to Brownsea Island. There is a comfy lounge area with all expected facilities and a dining area that leads out onto the 'sun trap' patio and garden that backs onto the harbour and is absolutely perfect for BBQ, playing with your children or just relaxing in the sunshine. This fantastic property is child friendly and has off street parking for 2 cars / boats.

Great location, an easy stroll into Poole and great local restaurants and bars, loved reading upstairs and watching the boats sail past, so relaxing. Lovely welcome hamper, and enjoyed the tea and cookies in the garden, just great. had an issue with fining the thermostat, but Andy was straight on it and let us know. Parking is a huge plus too.

Lovely house in a perfect location. Loved the sunset/sunrise and watching the Oystercatchers etc. Great to walk into Poole and also explore the local area. Got the ferry over to Studland and walked to old Harry Rocks. Plenty of places for walking and bird watching. Great host, really quick to respond to messages and send information

Wow! sums up the views the location and we loved it here. Took the dogs on long walks along the coastline and to Baiter Park which is nearby and is so lovely for the dogs to go off lead. Tesco extra within walking distance and fresh fish munger just over the road bridge at the top of the harbour. Sea smells, salty lips and the naturally protected ocean/ Harbour literally on the doorstep. Who needs a TV with so much going on along the walkway and sea (there is a TV of course).The garden is great for dogs and kids to wander in and out of the patio doors leading to the fully fenced garden. So much space for recreation and heaps of restaurants ideal for sophisticates and gastronomes. Beds are comfy. Life was so chilled for the days we were here. Highly recommend.

The cottage is in the ideal location, right on the water and within minutes of the quayside where you can enjoy lunch and dinner if you don’t want to go further afield.Perfect for the dog with an enclosed garden and the sea to swim in and a lovely green area five minutes walk away.

Lovely house and garden in a fantastic location, near all amenities. A wide range of pubs and restaurants within 5 mins walk. Sadly beach is only good for swimming if you have 4 legs!!! A very generous hamper was much appreciated on our arrival. Would definitely recommend this property.

I live on the outskirts of London with my wife and dog and have been lucky enough to travel up and down to Poole since i was a young lad with my family, and now with my own family.

Why they chose this property

The location of this property cannot get much better if you want sea views and to have the option to just leave your car in the drive and walk around Poole and the local area.
We've been slowly upgrading the property over the past few years, and its really becoming what we've envisaged now. Those regulars who come back year on year have been making very positive comments. The bathroom was refurbished in 2014, and in May 2015 all carpets replaced, bedroom, lounge and dining room furniture replaced. An internal redecoration was also undertaken.
The Kitchen and dining room was all replaced in April 2016 with an external decoration undertaken also.
