Cute little cabin in a great little neighborhood right across from Donner Lake. Has everything you need and in walking distance to a pub and the BEST ice cream shop. Would definitely stay here again.

Place was spotless. Super cute, perfect for three adults and one dog. Lots of time spent on the back deck, completely walkable to the lake. Hot water was pipin’ hot! Perfect for a summer rental. The only note would be to bring a fan. We had zero breeze and it took a while to cool down at night.

Nice clean place. Please let the owner know the fridge runs almost 24/7. It’s cold, but constantly running. Other that. The place is great!!

Our family has a long-standing tradition of spending a week every summer on the west end of Donner Lake, where multiple generations gather to make memories together. This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family and made this year’s trip even more special.The cabin is warm, inviting, and incredibly comfortable. The beds were some of the coziest we’ve slept in, making it easy to relax after long days at the lake. We also appreciated the updated amenities, which gave the cabin all the modern conveniences while still maintaining its charming mountain feel.Everything was clean, well cared for, and thoughtfully equipped. Whether we were enjoying a quiet morning with coffee or coming back after a full day of swimming, paddleboarding, and family time, it always felt like home.We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would happily rent this cabin again. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-appointed cabin near Donner Lake that feels both cozy and welcoming, this is it. Great cabin better than expected

The check-in was a breeze and they had heated steps to the door which was super awesome. The place was much more modern that the pics looked online and super clean. Kids went straight to backyard and started making snowmen.

The place was ideally located and easy to find at the popular west end of Donner Lake. Up a short flight of stairs, past a string of fairy lights and antisocial chipmunks, this two-bedroom, one bath hideaway was a nice place to land after a long drive. The Scandinavian raw-wood design is nearly as beautiful as the views, and the privacy, despite having homes on either side, is appreciated. We were welcomed with a bottle of locally bottled sparkling water and salt-water taffy — a small gesture that went a long way. We had a lovely couple of days using this site as a home-base as we enjoyed the lake and the surrounding area. Highly recommended and more than reasonably priced.
