Stunning views and thoroughly enjoyable property. Iconic Whale's Tail visible from the front of the property with jungle canopy views from the back deck. A truly special combination to help make a very memorable stay.

Amazing property, stunning views, great time with family. Have in mind tough access to the property (steep and definitely need 4x4 vehicle to get there. Make sure you arrive at day light to check in for the first time.

Great Views

The house was great, and exactly what we expected. I have been comming to CR for 20 years and stayed at several places. Very clean, comfortable, private, and very good management. Oscar even showed my daughter how to 4 wheel drive up the hill. Lots of wildlife.

The home was perfect. We had our son and daughter in law and our 2 grandchildren. The house was layout was ideal for this. The kitchen was well supplied with all we needed. Beautiful home. The views were excellent. View of whales tall from the pool area. Sun in the pool area for sun lovers and shade on the back deck when you need a break from the sun. My husband would have his afternoon naps on back deck. There is a big tree off the pool area that we saw Tuscan’s parrots. The tree is messy for the pool but the wildlife that uses that tree was excellent. We enjoyed all the wildlife around the house. I would highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone. Our host was also extremely helpful and always responded very quickly. Love love everything about this home and area.

The ongoing construction next door is completely disruptive. The house is great and if there wasn’t constant hammering metal beams and saws going from 6:00am every day, it would have been great. You should have been much more transparent about the construction. We were told it would be just about wrapped up by our stay and only inside work would be occurring. Thy was far from the truth - I asked multiple times if it would be disruptive and was told it would be. It was a complete shame - we did not get to enjoy the house or nature while we were at the house at all.

Amazing property

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Monos Locos! The property is stunning nestled between lush rainforest views on one side and the ocean on the other. Everything is meticulously maintained, very clean, and spacious. I especially appreciated the care taken to keep bugs out of the house, which made our stay very comfortable. A couple of small improvements could make the experience even better. Although the property has great pest control, there were quite a few dead bugs around the pool area, so a bit more housekeeping in those spaces would have been appreciated. Also, the pool wasn’t cleaned when we arrived, so we had to do it ourselves. Finally, having some basic groceries like salt and sugar available would have been very helpful.Despite these minor issues, we truly enjoyed our time at Casa Monos Locos and highly recommend it. We would definitely love to come back!
