We had a great stay. The house was awesome location was prime. It truly is ski and ski out. If you know what you’re doing one of the best communal hot tubs I’ve experienced.
More like 4.5- Great location! Easily fit 5 of us, minimum 6 would still be comfortable. Our only hesitation for not giving it a 5 is because it’s very drafty and we had to spend a lot of time adjusting the temperature to avoid being wasteful yet not cold. We could see outside through the door cracks and snow got in under the door. The kitchen has good supplies, there’s plenty of puzzles and games for blizzard days, and we could watch the Olympics for hours!
My sister and I rented this condo and we were very pleased. The place was clean, the rooms were a good size, and the convenience of being so close to Canyon Lodge was a big plus.
Very easy dealing with property management. Condo was conveniently located and comfortable

Great condo. Short walk uphill to a place to put on your skis and ski down to lifts. Condo is older but well maintained and cozy for a ski trip

No pool as stated in the listing.
Property was spacious. The main amenity we were looking for was a pool and this property didnt have one as stated in the description. Very dissapointing to my 7 year old.
it is a good location and 2 bed and 2 bath for 2 family. however the hot water ran out very fast and the third person's doesn't have hot water anymore

Great place. Roomy, open main living area upstairs with wood stove. Was about a 7 minute walk up moderate slope to a ski in/out spot. Very convenient. Bring some chains or 4WD if it's snowing/icy since it's on a hill. Had no issues with the internet while working remote.
Condo has lovely layout and is spacious. Location is great, perfect walk to canyon ski lodge. Jacuzzi and sauna were great. Drawbacks were things that need repair such as could not work TV and front door needed slamming to shut and games were all missing essential pieces. I would still rent it again though.
The location was fantastic being so close to Canyon Lodge. It is possible if you know where to exit off Bluejay run to get very close in walking distance to the property. Jacuzzi was very large and sauna wonderful after a long day on the slopes. We were treated to watching the Rams win the Super Bowl and watch the Olympics on a tv that had a nice sound bar and subwoofer. Pictures are accurate and the place is dated but felt spacious. WiFi and cable TV were great and it was a nice treat to have a wood fireplace with firewood included.

Bad Showers
The water pressure and temp control in the showers were very bad. Cobwebs around the banisters and found a spider in the shower

Mammoth Condo
Generally, the high-use areas of the property seemed clean. The property did not appear to have been "deep cleaned" in quite some time (cobwebs, some dirty cooking utensils). This made the cleanliness seem questionable- especially during this time (pandemic). Upon arrival we noted there were no parking passes. I notified the property manager and they said someone would contact me- no one ever did. Luckily, we did not receive any citation during the week for this. The other most notable thing was the lack of a screen door on the back porch door. Due to the warm weather, this would've been nice in order to keep the back door open for cool air.
First, the 2 minor things about this listing.
The ski out trail is NOT easy to access or find. Its definitely not clear and if you're new or a beginner I do not suggest you using the ski out trail. It is easily a 10 min walk to the access and if its early season or spring, the roads won't have enough snow for you to ride back. Second, if you do not have chains or snow tires, I would not suggest this location if you're staying during peak season or after a storm. The only 2 roads that you can use are either from the resort or main road. Main road has a STEEP hill that you need to go up and resort has a less steep hill. In the 3 days I was there, saw 3 vehicles get stuck. 2 from main road that kept slipping and 1 BMW from the resort side. I have a AWD with snow rated tires and was fine. If you do not have chains or snow tires, good luck.
Now the good. If you can easily get here, it is very close to the resort but you will still need to leave early as the parking becomes unavailable by 8AM. The dining and living area is large. The heating and thermostat is a nest and if youre not familiar with it can be confusing. Overall, this is a location I would definitely stay at again.
We were very disappointed with the unit, location and property management, Grand Welcome. First, you can NOT walk to Canyon Lodge with skis and boots in hand , as they advertised. Too far to walk and hills make it extra difficult.
Second, this is a ski resort so it snows. No shovel provided in the unit and with outdoor parking, without a shovel we lost 1/2 day skiing clearing the car with a dust pan and broom. That's right, A DUST PAN AND BROOM FOR SNOW REMOVAL. Multiple attempts to get a shovel. We finally got a shovel 3 days later, but they took it away 24 hrs later.
Also, they allow late checkout but they do not tell you the price. We asked for late checkout and left 1 hr later than required and they charged $60.
Final disaster, last night there, the smoke alarm went off about midnight for new batteries. Of course no batteries in the unit so ... beep, beep, beep good night.
My advice: STAY AWAY FROM THIS UNIT.

Hi Glen,
I sincerely apologize for the issues during your stay. Since the HOA and the city provide snow removal on a daily basis, we do not provide shovels. We will make sure to replace the batteries in the smoke detector. We have a standard flat late check out fee of $60 for all of our reservations and therefore, advertise a check out time of 10AM. Thank you.
