About this property

1BR cabin plus loft sleeps 6 fantastic views

My just renovated little cabin is at the end of the resort (Black Bear), and is quiet and private, backing up to a horsefarm. It has the best view of all the resort across the Canaan Valley, Timberline Four Seasons Resort,White Grass, and on to the Dolly Sods. Close to skiing, biking, hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, antiquing, and live music!

A car is a must, and AWD or 4WD in winter.

The cabin was a great place to stay! We came to celebrate our one year anniversary. Lots of great hiking nearby and Davis was a great town. The cabin itself was comfortable and cozy for our stay. It had everything we needed. Definitely recommend.

Perfect Family Ski Cabin!

Our family of four stayed in the cabin for a quick ski trip. The cabin is situated perfectly close to ski resorts as well as restaurants in Davis. The owner's directions were clear from booking to check out and the cabin was fully stocked with all of our needs. My kids loved the bunk beds. Will book again!

Perfect short getaway!!!

Me and girlfriend spent a few days here (12/3-12/6) to get away and just be together. Had a wonderful time!! Cozy little cabin with no one around. We were there during a snow storm, 65mph winds, and temps from 11 into the 20's. The fire place was wonderful and there was plenty of supplied fire wood. All new appliances. It was not a smart tv as advertised and, probably due to the storm, the satellite signal was in and out. Oh well, didn't come to watch tv. Blackwater Falls was amazing covered in snow and ice. Stumptown Ales has some of the best beer I've had. Really wish I could've brought some home. Most definitely a great trip and place to stay.

We lived the coziness of the cabin, very rustic and beautiful scenery. Really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and the fact even with all the snow that we had nice dry firewood to use. The only thing I wasn’t aware of and was probably an oversight on my part, there wasn’t a real oven, we made due with the counter top oven but could have used a regular size oven. This wouldn’t prevent me from renting again as we loved the experience and can adjust for the next time.

It's always frustrating to get a less than perfect review but without any comments on why the review was so bad it's very difficult for us to do anything about it. We have reviewed all of the correspondence from this guest and there was no suggestion or hint that anything was less than perfect for them so this is a mystery.
