Winters in Packwood may get very snowy. It is the guests responsibility to be properly equipped for harsh winter driving conditions. We do our best to keep our cabins accessible, but winter traction tires and 4-wheel drive may still be required.

We come here every year. The cleaning is exceptional and the open concept let's is spread out but still be together. Twice a day the week would come easy from the apple tree in the yard. The host is professional and prompt when i ask questions. Over all this is our favorite fall get away.

We unfortunately had to cancel our trip due to illness. Thank goodness for trip protection! But TMC was very understanding and helpful through the process. We can't wait to get back to Packwood and this property!

The house is spacious, clean, and pretty. It has everything you need for your stay. There is a grocery close by and some restaurants that are walkable in distance. Wifi is strong. It's about an hour away from Mt Rainier, which is not too close but the price is affordable. I would highly recommend this place.

The interior of the home was beautiful and clean, and the property was well kept. The photos and description are accurate. Some random observations:- The kitchen faucet wasn't working when we got there. I called, left a message, and within 30 minutes someone was there to fix it. Top marks for that!- The location is great for doing stuff in Mt. Rainier National Park. Pro tip - go swim every day in the Blue Hole at La Wis Wis. Trust me.- We had deer come through the backyard multiple times!- The backyard is literally 20' from the airport, and there's a helicopter pad right there. We had firefighting helicopters taking off and doing training so close to the patio that we had to flee inside when they'd land due to the dust. They would fly 50' above our backyard when landing (which was really cool, despite the dust).- There are a few dilapidated trailers across the street, but the neighborhood is quiet and safe. We had zero concerns staying there.
