Lovely little cabin
We wish we had more time to spend in beautiful south lake Tahoe. Cabin was great - the only negative we had was that the tv's in two of the bedrooms didn't work - in our group we had two teenage boys and the TV's would have helped at night x - but other than that the cabin was really nice - well equipped.
Wonderful stay at this place this weekend, enjoyed the fireplace and clean sheets !
Nice and warm cozy place , I would definitely comeback with my family again ,
I like how they keep the old fashion 1970s furniture in tack , I Would of enjoyed better pans to cook breakfast in , I had trouble with the morning eggs ‘ lol ... thank you very much !
Mouse Poop in the Kitchen Drawers and Counters and End Table next to the Couch in Living Room. Also Mouse Poop inside the Toaster.....

Daryl, we hope you had an enjoyable stay overall! The homeowner would like to note that pest infestations are a real concern for all homes in South Lake Tahoe and they take this concern very seriously. The owner has ultrasonic noise generators in every room to repel pests. They also keep a pad of peppermint oil under each sink as a deterrent. They plan to look into this concern more and act diligently to ensure the issue does not recur for future guests. Thank you for letting us know. Best, the Evolve Team

Thoroughly enjoyed it!
Loved the location and the forest behind the cabin. It's quiet which makes it nice to sleep in and the dog run is amazing for when you want to step away to the lake and have to leave behind the fur babie. The cabin itself was clean and nice! Felt like guest in a hotel, things were situated for us. Great experience and will rebook again!

As advertised!
Centrally located and has all the necessities needed for a comfortable vacation home. We loved the retro furnishings - it reminded us of our house as children. Everything was clean, tidy, and all worked. Even a new charcoal grill in the yard. The neighborhood is quiet with lots of space close by to walk. The owners have lots of movies to watch (something for everyone) and have a fully stocked kitchen. 3 different coffee makers! :-)

mediocre, at best
Not recommended. This home is located at a distance from Lake Tahoe, in a neighborhood that is not well maintained. There is no garage or carport. The home is fully equipped with very old furniture and decor, all from the 1970's. There were ants in the kitchen, spiders in my bed, and the lights did not work consistently. Linens and towels were old. There is no exit from the home into the backyard. You have to go out the side door and open a gate to get there. No grass in fenced off area - unkempt and filled with needles and pine cones. Not very welcoming. The best aspect of this home is the cheap price. But, you get what you pay for in this situation.

Griswold Vacation
This was a classic family vacation, similar to the Griswald family vacation! There was my good friend Eric who represented Clark, me (Bruce) uncle Eddie, and Kitty (kids Mom) as Christie Brinkley! and the rest does not matter! We had a great time and memorable moments with my Son (as Rusty) getting lost on the Lake on a rented Jet Ski!
The cabin and location was perfect!
