Map
Our home is located in a neighborhood with filtered views of the mountains. Our favorite beach is Camp Richardson, which has live music and a nice restaurant. There is a pier there where you can rent a boats, paddle boards, kayak, jet skis etc.
We have a nice deck where you can relax and a forest with paths that go on forever. Biking trails are nearby. You must see Emerald Bay. It's beautiful. Hikers can hike down a trail to the beach, or you can take a boat. There's a house there, called Vikingsholm that was built in the early 1900's. It's worth the trek.

I've been in the travel industry for more than 30 years. Our family loves to travel, so we have rented homes on this website and other websites all over the world. Because we are visiting other places as well as Lake Tahoe, we have the time to rent our Jicarilla Chalet for others to enjoy. We love to have family reunions here whenever possible. Lake Tahoe is a fabulous year round destination!
Wendy Copra purchased this house in 2011
Why Wendy Copra chose Pioneer Trail
We fell in love with this property 30 years ago, because of all the beautiful pine trees and the forest at the end of our street. When we retired we completely remodeled it. It originally was a small A frame home and we turned it into a 2,400 square foot home with a large deck to capture the views of the mountains.
