Multigenerational family vacation, 9 adults, 1 child..ages 2-80From pre-arrival, check in, check out and everything in between…Phenomenal communication.The photos and descriptions of the house provide a nice idea of expectations.The REALITY of this property is Beyond!Fully supplied kitchen(s), comfortable beds/family rooms. Dining table seats 16, made for lovely breakfast buffets/family dinners. Beautiful lake views from the decks. The game room/pool, made the chilly/rainy days indoors all the more enjoyable! Being able to rent a pontoon and tie it up on the pier, kayaking the lake (kayak provided).Shops/restaurants/towns are reasonably nearbyAll in all truly grateful for a fantastic family holiday!

We had a great time at the Black Bear. The lake was beautiful for swimming and boating. The rental was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed for cooking meals. We had a group with 3 families and several kids who loved the pool as well. Thank you to Connie for easy communication and making sure we had everything needed to relax and enjoy a week at the lake!

Beautiful family lakehouse, immaculately clean, gorgeous view. Fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking, mini golf, video games and a fabulous indoor pool and spa. A kind and gracious host as well who provided us with everything we needed. Our family had so much fun. Would love to come back!

This was an EXCELLENT property. We had 8 adults and 4 kids and everyone had a great time. The house is amazing and Connie was equally as amazing. We kids played in the lake that was so clear you could see the fish. The lake is awesome as well.The view is to die for. We will visit this house again for sure.. 10 out of 10 in every category.. June 2026.

Wonderful place to stay

We loved our time at this property! Pool and hot tub were great, wonderful views and beautiful place to stay. So much space, such great hospitality and thoughtfulness, and the host communicated exceptionally well. Will DEFINITELY return for another visit.

The best stay!

We had the best experience! The host Connie was amazing. Her responsiveness was unbelievable prompt. The pool, and the game room kept the kids happy. Beach access and the view from the house is picturesque! We will definitely revisit!

For the last 3 years, we have chosen a different Michigan home, with an indoor pool, to escape to for a long weekend with friends. We had 6 adults and 6 kids and we had plenty of room. The kids were especially happy to swim in a pool whenever they wanted to swim! The hostess was extremely responsive, accommodating and professional. The property itself was pristine. I have stayed in several rental homes, and this was one of the cleanest properties. I imagine in the summer, this is an amazing place to stay with lakefront/beach access. I would recommend to anyone traveling with a group.

Amazing Weekend!

Group of 15 stayed for extended weekend. The house was great! Very roomy and well stocked. Dee was extremely helpful throughout the booking process and stay. Highly recommend this rental!!!

Large lodge with indoor pool/spa - a bit hit with the kids

Property was well suited for our families - the split sleeping areas & TVs helped allow for quiet time. The deck and main living area were wonderful as were the fire pit on the beach. We enjoyed the ladder ball and corn hole as well.

Awesome!!

Our group had a great time at this house, it was absolutely perfect! Plenty of space for everyone and plenty of stuff to do. The pool was everyone’s favorite part. I’d definitely come back in the summer so we can enjoy the lake. I definitely recommend booking this property.

Long weekend getaway

This house was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well stocked and well equipped for cooking for a party of 10. The kids loved the indoor pool. The lake was perfect for our stand up paddle boards too. Over-all we had a great time and would return again.

The house was a fantastic spot for our girls weekend! We had a lovely time and Connie was very communicative. Unfortunately we were unable to use the pool due to water level issues. Connie did get a maintenance person to help, but the issue continued. We would love to come back and try again though!!

Family Vacation

The first thing we saw was the cleanliness of the house. Our last rental was not very clean. The property owner was very attentive and took care of any questions or concerns we had immediately. The pool was great as was the beach and dock area.
