Fantastic Week in Kauai

My wife and I stayed with another couple and loved everything about this unit. The location was central on the island and we rented a car to go to the towns on the north and south sides. There were beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, coolers, a fully stocked kitchen, etc. It had everything we needed for the week, and the view from the balcony was amazing! Would definitely stay here again!

CLOSE TO EVERYTHING

This condo is centered around anything that you can do on Kauai. The lanai is better than the pictures show. We had a wonderful stay. The entry code is used on the door, not the lockbox. Open the screen door. Enjoy the serenity.

Lanikai 121

Property is beautiful and secluded. Ocean is mere steps away and salt water pool is great too. Combination of grass and sand gives people options on where to sit. Lanikai 121 has a great view and large lanai with patio furniture to enjoy sunrise and sunset. Kitchen amenities are modern and layout of place is open. Washer/dryer in unit is a plus. Kapaa town is minutes away with restaurants and small local food places and food trucks. Country mart and Safeway are close by so access to groceries, etc. is easy. All in all a great place to stay and definitely worth it!

Awesome ocean views!

Stayed here with our family for spring break and loved the proximity to the pool and beach! The view is top notch! We spent a lot of time on the lanai and ate almost all meals out there. The unit was plenty big enough for the four of us. The location on the island was great for easy access to activities and excursions. We booked a lot of our tours and activities through the concierge service that is offered after booking and it all worked out great - very organized. I do think the unit could use a refresh on the small kitchen appliances (ie blender, toaster etc) as they didn’t work well and could use a good dusting on some of the older furniture pieces (ie wicker stools). Parts of this unit seemed refreshed and others on the older side so it may be a rolling work in progress. Other than those minor items, this unit is really wonderful for those who want to hear the ocean waves and be close to the water!

Amazing view

My husband and friends had a wonderful time staying at this condo. It was nicely decorated and maintained. It was close to town and easy to get to the bike path that goes along the ocean. My husband and I ran almost everyday to the bike path which was about 1 mile from the condo. We could hear the sound of the waves at night from the master bedroom which had a very comfortable mattress. We took advantage of the pool in the mornings and afternoon for hanging out with our friends after sight seeing. I loved that it was not crowded at the pool and most of the time we were the only 4 using it! We also enjoyed sitting out on the pretty beach in front of the condo and my friend went snorkeling and saw Kauai's state fish. He also used the boogie board that was supplied at the condo. We ate out at the lemongrass, Olympic cafe and Brick oven pizza in town and they all had excellent food. We enjoyed going to see the waterfalls close by and hiking up the sleeping giant for the view of the city below. My friends went to the Smiths luau which was very close to the Condo and really enjoyed the show. We are already talking about bringing our kids back when we visit again. I would recommend this condo for your visit here. You will not be disappointed. Mahalo to Cindy and Helen for all the questions we had before and during our check out. It was a pleasure dealing with both of you. Hope you will have us stay at your lovely place again!

Stop Looking-This is your place!

This condo, even more than the other condos in the complex, is just the most magical place! Located on the end, 2nd floor, with a soft green lawn in front and the ocean steps away. The pool and a small beach is RIGHT THERE! We had 2 teens with us and we could send them over and see them from the balcony! Inside the condo is super comfy and had everything we needed. The main bedroom had a king bed and stunning ocean views and sound. Main bathroom has double sinks and a separate vanity area. Big closet and plenty of space to unpack. The 2nd bedroom had 2 full beds, perfect for the teens. Another nice size bathroom with lots of counter space. LAUNDRY which is honestly just worth everything! They had lots of beach towels and some laundry pods so we were able to maintain clean towels and clothes. Kitchen is well stocked with anything you could need. I made breakfast each morning and found salt, pepper and a few other spices in the small pantry cabinet. Coffee maker as well as a Keurig. Big fridge with a water source for filling bottles just inside the door on the left. Freezer had ice packs for use in a cooler and the condo has 2 in the hall closet, along with snorkel gear and beach chairs. I would have liked some all-purpose counter spray, the only thing I didn't find! A 2 minute walk away is Aloha Coffee, Passion Bakery, and Coconut Marketplace. We loved Island Country Market. Safeway is a 2 minute drive, along with the best shave ice at Wailua Shave Ice. Aloha!

Island getaway

We had a wonderful time staying here as a family of 4. The property is located right on the water and have easy access to a private beach and pool. The sounds of the ocean are amazing as you enjoy the fresh air on the lanai and the scenery is beautiful.

A Dream Vacation Stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Lanikai Condo. The kids had a lot of fun going between the warm pool and beautiful beach. We couldn't have asked for a better location, it was walkable to great food, shaved ice and stores. The unit was clean and well maintained. We appreciated the in unit washer/dryer and that the kitchen appliances were all updated. We absolutely loved our stay and plan to return!

Wonderful Stay!

We had such a wonderful stay and it was better than it even looked in pictures. The unit was lovely and perfectly equipped- lots of water/beach gear and beds were very comfortable. The heated pool and the little beach was perfect for our 15 month old to enjoy and we were pleasantly surprised by the location. You can walk the beach path North a ways and there are plenty of great spots to eat in this location. Plus the sunrise from the huge lanai was a lovely bonus. Would definitely stay again!

Paradise was needed!

5 years since our last visit to Hawai’i and 25 years for Kauai. (Honeymoon). Property was as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Even though there are so many beaches to visit, having your own semi private beach steps away from your condo just can’t be beat. No driving, no packing. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing trip!

My family of four loved everything about this property! Stunning beach, amazing views, easy access to the pool. We loved how many supplies came with the apartment — binoculars for bird watching, coolers for the beach, and snorkel gear. And my kids enjoyed the soccer ball and corn hole game. The dishwasher broke during our stay, which was a big bummer, but they gave us a complimentary late checkout, which allowed us to enjoy our last day in Kaua’i! Much appreciated.

Pros and cons

Pros…Amazing location, fantastic apartment in terms of space and equipment. We lived on the balcony so the best view ever. The beach and pool area are second to none. Cons… no air conditioning . There is one unit in the guest bedroom only. It was often too warm . For me, the bedding quality was not great and we noticed stains after bed stripping. Not a major issue. We requested a bag drop but there was no one here. After several attempts we finally got a code but it was frustrating after 21 hours did travel . If any reader can stand no AC then this apartment is fabulous. It is in the small print and I missed it so we just got on with it and an extra fan was promptly delivered.

Heavenly

This property was everything it was promised to be… A beautiful private deck toward the ocean, wonderfully appointed condo with everything we could ever need, and overall just a heavenly experience. We stayed at the sister property next door five years ago, we can say hands-down that we prefer this property. The group of condos was Smaller and more personal in size and a little bit off the beaten path. However the inside of the condo was huge, tons of space to spread out. It felt like overkill for only two people but it was an indulgence. One of the reasons we got a two bedroom was because I was worried about my husband’s back problems and wanted more than one bed option but the main room with the ocean deck had a perfect bed and he had no complaints. This is coming from someone that has an incredibly expensive motorized bed so we were very happy he was happy. Having parking that was available and easy to access was a plus. Lava Lava is always a great place for a quick bite or a delicious drink and a short walk away. If you forget anything you can walk to the overpriced coconut marketplace for what you need but Safeway is a short drive down the road. We highly recommend this unit and look forward to leasing it in the coming years.
