We were genuinely surprised by this review. Throughout the stay we maintained open communication and did our best to accommodate your many requests, including granting a late checkout after you indicated she you were experiencing a medical issue. The claim that items were taken from you is inaccurate. We respect our guests’ privacy and do not enter the home while it is occupied unless permission is given, and no one accessed the property during this stay. We charged you a pet fee that you did not include in your initial reservation and by no means is that considered "stealing". Our home is prepared before every stay by a professional cleaning team to ensure it is clean, organized, and ready for arriving guests. Towels and toiletries are always provided according to the number of guests listed on the reservation. In this case, seven guests were booked and seven towel sets were provided accordingly.

I did want to clarify a few details for future guests: Our home is located just minutes from Downtown Dallas and in a very central area close to everything. One of the unique features of this property is that it is fully gated with no nearby neighbors, which many guests enjoy for the added privacy and peaceful surroundings. It has the charm of Oak Cliff. Regarding the tub, the home does not have a traditional tub spout, but it is equipped with a two-headed shower fixture. One of the shower heads functions specifically to fill the tub, and this was communicated during your stay to ensure you knew how to use it. When you mentioned that you cut your foot, I immediately directed you to the first-aid kit so you had what you needed. I’m not sure what caused the cut, but I was happy to assist as soon as you reached out. As for the beds, the listing clearly states the bedding configuration: two full-size beds, one twin bed, and one queen-size bed. This information is available in the Vrbo description before booking so guests can know exactly what to expect.

I’m sorry to hear that you experienced difficulty upon arrival. I was not contacted that evening regarding any access concerns, and only learned the following morning when I reached out to check if you needed anything. For clarification, the home does have vehicle access through the front driveway and garage entrance. The stairs mentioned are for pedestrian entry only and are not required to access the property by car. Had I been contacted at the time, I would have gladly assisted in guiding you to the front access so that parking and unloading could be done comfortably. The home is located just minutes from Downtown Dallas and the Bishop Arts District, an area many guests enjoy for its restaurants, shops, and convenient access to the city. We host guests from all over who appreciate the charm of the property and the central location. I always encourage guests to reach out during their stay if anything unexpected arises, as most situations can be quickly resolved with a quick message.
