Well appointed with period appropriate furnishings. Very clean and cozy with adequate space. The dogs enjoyed the fenced yard and the location is very close to everything.
Amazing location, there is a tip based golf cart operated in the town used it was so easy. Washington in a hidden gem of the inner banks. The patio in the back has a distant view of the river. Worth a visit.

Charming quirky well outfitted house with a lot of character. Good location, and Washington is a lovely town with friendly people and a lot of history.
This was a really enjoyable older property that was clean and well kept. Everything was in working condition and the entire process was super easy. We enjoyed the water view from the furnished back porch as well as the bicycles on property. We would definitely return!

Roger. It was a pleasure having you. We hope you will return to Washington soon.
A lot roomier than it appeared in the photos. A very cool old house with lots of character. Perfect for our family of 5 adults, and pet friendly. Convenient to walk downtown
What a wonderfully cute house in an absolutely beautiful small town. The house was clean and just as advertised. Had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Communication with the property owner was easy with fast responses.
We had a great stay at The Pirate House. Check-in was seamless, accommodations comfortable, amenities plentiful, and we were within walking distance of practically everything that makes Washington, NC, the quintessential river town. Our host, Kasey, was communicative, friendly, and accessible. 10/10 would book again, no question!
What a wonderful trip to Washington! We were there for a family reunion that has been the 4th of July weekend for many years. We had always stayed with family but my crew is now big enough to be overwhelming. Having our own space at this VRBO was excellent. It was close to downtown, the estuarium and Park ...which was very important to my Littles. Fireworks on the 4th of July. Easy to enjoy from the boardwalk or backyard. There was a mourning dove with a nest in the trumpet vine over the back porch. We had a birth of two babies on the 4th of July!
Sweet historic cottage within walking distance of downtown. We walked to breakfast and dinner. Even pickleball courts nearby! The backyard was an amazing space to hang out with our little pup. We could look out over the water. We will definitely be back. Very quiet and safe.
This is a great property! Lots of attention to detail and very well maintained. We really appreciated all of the hooks available to hang towels on. Most rentals don't have them. We will stay here again!
