About this property

Welcome to our beautiful home which we call DierLago! It is located on a very private cul-de-sac with spectacular views of Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid. There are two open decks to enjoy plus a screened in porch between them. Plus a two car garage and plenty of parking for everyone.

There are four beautiful bedrooms to enjoy with 3 full bathrooms as well. Three bedrooms are themed - fishing, bears, horses - and decorated accordingly. We have a gorgeous kitchen with corian counters and stainless steel appliances. Next to the kitchen is an open dining room with high ceilings and a floor to ceiling dual fireplace. Then there is our great room with the floor to ceiling dual fireplace and with beautiful ADK decor throughout. Also an upstairs loft with sofas and a great place to hang out with friends and family and just relax. We have a very comfy and well appointed den off the dining room with a TV for ballgames or movies. Enjoy our fun game room downstairs with ping pong and a pinball machine.

We have taken every measure to make our home a great place to be and know that you will enjoy it as much as we do!

Great hideaway!

We had a great family stay in this house. The location was just far enough from town to make it feel like we were remote, but close enough that we could easily go back and forth.

Comfortable home in great location

We loved our Thanksgiving visit. The home had everything we needed to cook and enjoy the holiday. The freestanding fireplace makes for instant atmosphere which we were happy to enjoy with a glass of wine. Would recommend this property.

Frequent renter of homes on overlook culdesac

We have rented several homes on this culdesac in the past and our stay at this particular home was overall good! Beautiful kitchen, living area as well as a huge porch with amazing views. The master bedroom also had incredible views and an extremely comfortable bed. WiFi and smart TV worked wonderfully in the bedroom. The double sided fireplace was the star of the show! One issue we had with the house was the musty smell in the basement. Even after leaving all of the windows open for 24 hours before our guests arrived the smell was still prominent. This made it difficult for us because the 3 guest bedrooms are in the basement and that is where our 6 guests stayed. One bedroom had no windows and was the worst of them all. Our one guest had bad allergies while staying down there. Overall our stay for the two of us was great and the upstairs was clean and not-smelly. The location was superior and the views breathtaking. Unfortunately we would not rent this home again because if we were to come with guests it would be inappropriate to have them stay downstairs. For the price of this home I do expect our guests who join us to feel comfortable.
