About this property

HotTub•PoolTable•FirePit•2KingSuites (CCC)

Summary:

Welcome to Cozy Creek Cottage, a two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath Tennessee farmhouse and a prestigious 100 Collection™ property, featuring professional interior design throughout. Tucked just a third of a mile from stoplight #10 up Ski Mountain Road — close enough to hop the local trolley from a half-block away, and less than half a mile from Gatlinburg's Parkway — this charming cottage delivers the convenience of downtown with none of the noise, thanks to extra insulation and sound barriers that keep the inside completely peaceful.

Cozy Creek Cottage carries real Gatlinburg history. It sits on the site of the original Chalet Company property (later acquired by Mountain Laurel Chalets), and was one of the very first homes rebuilt after the 2016 fires. The great room's gas fireplace tells that story: the stone was reclaimed from the original building on this site as well as from the Deer View Trail cottage, and the wood mantle was salvaged from a restored 1800s Tennessee church. It anchors a lofted, two-story great room with exposed wood beams and a 55" smart TV, filled with natural light and high-end finishes.

A welcoming entry with a glider bench on the front porch leads into floor-to-ceiling tongue-and-groove woodwork, plush furnishings, a barrel coffee table, and a Tennessee farm table that seats six — perfect for meals and lively game nights. The kitchen is a true farmhouse dream and a haven for the chef in your group — granite countertops, white cabinetry, a copper sink, and every appliance and accessory you'll need (just bring groceries).

The main level offers a half bath and the first of two identical king primary suites — each with a private walk-in tiled shower, a large vanity, and a smart TV, so no one has to compromise on comfort. This suite opens directly to the back porch, where a hot tub and a flagstone-path fire pit sit just fifteen feet from Holly Branch Creek, offering the soothing sound of babbling water day and night.

Upstairs, a lofted game room overlooks the great room below and features a pool table, custom theater seating, and a cozy nook for cards, reading, or morning coffee. The second king primary suite mirrors the first, with its own walk-in tiled shower, vanity, and a wall of windows looking out over the creek.

Rounding out the home is a full-size washer and dryer (with a starter supply of detergent provided), premium soaps and kitchen supplies in every Mountain Laurel Chalets home, and high-speed internet ready for work, streaming, or gaming. As an added bonus, the owners lovingly decorate the cottage for Christmas each year, creating a magical atmosphere for a holiday getaway. And because Cozy Creek Cottage sits right next to Mountain Laurel Chalets' historic office — in the same spot for over 50 years — extra towels or supplies are never more than a short walk away.

Guests of this Gatlinburg chalet rental also have access to three clubhouses, the closest to Cozy Creek Cottage being the S. Baden Clubhouse, which offers a large outdoor pool, changing rooms/showers, shuffleboard, horseshoes, a playground, tennis courts, a gym, and a game room with billiards, ping pong, foosball, checkers/chess, and video games.
