Explore Sights of Washington from Spacious Basement Apartment

Walk down the stone steps and through the red door into a Capitol Hill crib. This unit measures 700 sq feet and features a long, open layout with ceiling spotlights. The bedroom boasts a Casper mattress for a peaceful night’s sleep. The unit features a kitchenette with a small refrigerator but no stove. Laundry is also in the unit and free to use. Note: If you don't like the occasional sounds of toddlers, this is not the place for you.

The space
This private space is approximately 700 sq. feet and has one queen size bed and private full bath. The couch sleeps one but is NOT a sleeper couch. Also available in the unit is a full/queen air mattress that sleeps two additional people. The unit features a kitchenette with a small refrigerator but no stove. Laundry is also in the unit and free to use.

If you are looking for PARKING, we charge a flat fee of $50 which we can add to your stay upon request only. You will NOT need a parking pass if you are checking in on Friday and departing Monday morning.

By request only, we try our best to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs. If we're able to offer either (or both), a flat fee of $50 will be applied.

Other things to note
We are early risers because we have kids. When guests are booked we'll try our best to keep noise to a minimum. However, if you are looking for a perfectly quiet location, we recommend exploring a more suitable option for lodging.

We loved our stay at Le Crib. It was the perfect size for me, my spouse, and our 1 year old. Everything was clean, bed was super comfortable, and the decor was trendy. Magnetic chargers on the nightstands were a huge plus. Adorable neighborhood and never had an issue finding parking. Would absolutely book again!

Le Crib was lovely!

This was a delightful place to stay for our 4 days in D.C.!It was clean, comfortable and in a great neighborhood location. Quite walkable. We appreciated the morning coffee. I only hope we can come back one day to Le Crib to see the sights that we couldn't fit in this time. And, we were glad to have a place to store a bike outside. It was nice meeting Eric. Washington is amazing. !

This property was the perfect place for our family of 4! It was clean and well stocked! The owners were super nice and checked on us half way through our stay to see if there was anything we needed! If this is a 1st for you (staying in someone’s “basement” ) like it was ours. Note that it wasn’t uncomfortable at all! We plan on coming to DC again next year and we already know we will be staying here again!!

Phenomenal Stay on Capitol Hill

Eric and Zoe have a phenomenal spot on Capitol Hill! I've stayed on the Hill a few times, and this was my best experience. Their responsiveness was tremendous and the apartment was in pristine condition. Everything from the listing perfectly matched reality. The air mattress was really comfortable and didn't lose any air at all over night. The shower is recently remodeled to be spacious with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. I'll definitely look up Eric and Zoe next time I'm staying on CH.
