Casa Rio - Adorable Albuquerque Home in Old Town

This charming Historic 2br/2bath Adobe home in the heart of Old Town was built in the 1940s. Centered around the plaza, Albuquerque`s Old Town comprises about 10 blocks of historic adobe buildings, our home being right in the middle of them. If you step outside, you`ll be able to hear the church bells of San Felipe de Neri Church, the oldest building in the city, built in 1793. Explore fantastic museums, restaurants, and Southwest galleries.



One of the best things about the Historic Old Town neighborhood is its central location, giving you easy access to all of Albuquerque.



Easy drive or bike ride to other attractions such as the Rio Grande, Sawmill District, UNM, Downtown & Nob Hill. This is a private 2-bedroom traditional Pueblo style home. It has a spacious kitchen and a nice size table in the dining room area, great for remote work. There is a cozy living room area for tv watching and a nice enclosed patio view of Old Town. Comfortably sleeps 5 people.



With considerate attention to detail, our home has been recently renovated with new floors, furniture, fresh paint and is furnished and fully stocked! Mixed with traditional Albuquerque style and contemporary comforts, this home features updated soothing bathrooms, intimate bedrooms and radiates a warm feeling throughout the entire home.

Location, Location, Location. Right in old town, walking to numerous shops and restaurants. Place is 2 bed, 2 bath perfect size for 2-4. We played games at the home, clue and trivia. Parking was perfect did not need to worry about driving. Host provided many essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, lotion, ice, and the towels were thick and comfy, (plenty provided for us 3), not those paper thin towels at hotels. Place is a historic adobe style and the heating and cooling splits kept us warm and coll when needed by room. There is also stacked laundry, we used the dryer for hand wash items. Perfect place to stay for an Albuquerque visit.

We visit Albuquerque to see relatives, so not necessarily typical tourists, but I would happily recommend this place to anyone staying in old town. It’s a wonderful old adobe in a perfect location. Everything is just around the corner. Old town is one of the few walkable neighborhoods in the city with excellent restaurants, museums, and shops. The house is very comfortable- well furnished and in good condition. Perfect for a small family.

Great home in the middle of Old Town!

This house is adorable and is very much like the pictures shown! I LOVED it and would definitely stay here again! It’s right in the heart of Old Town which has plenty to walk around and see, shop, and eat. If you plan on renting a car the house has its own private driveway so there’s no need to worry about looking for street parking.

Albuquerque three day trip

Accommodations are ideally located in old town Albuquerque with convenient access to the rest of the city. Host supplied excellent guide book for the area as well as Santa Fe. Every recommendation was spot on. The only negatives were related to the kitchen. No toaster, ice trays, or dish washer. We managed to make the best. Place was clean, well decorated, and in a great location.

Quaint, clean, perfect location in Old Town. Step out the front door and everything is within walking distance. Or enjoy sitting in the enclosed front porch watching people walk by. We enjoyed our morning coffee there during our stay. Front yard is fenced in and separate from back yard. Perfect for keeping our doggies contained without leashes. Fences are about 3ft or so tall. They contained our tallest Golden-Doodle. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The 4 split units helped keep the temps cool. I loved the Aveeno body wash provided. Although I hate hand washing dishes (there is no dishwasher), I’d gladly do the dishes anytime as long as we stay there. My husband and I have decided that THIS is the place we will ALWAYS try to rent for our trips to ABQ.
