When we first pulled up to the house I worried that we might have made a mistake by booking this place. The outside looks a bit rough. But you can’t judge a book by its cover. The house was bright, clean and nicely updated. There were lots of comfortable spaces for my husband, two corgis and me to relax and unwind in. Even though it was nearly 100 degrees outside, the house was mercifully cool thanks to central air conditioning. I went to the nearby grocery store to pick up some supplies and in the evening we drove 15 minutes to Lawrence to meet family for a wonderful dinner in one of the college town’s many restaurants. Sarah was a perfect host. Her communication with us was excellent. When we arrived, I sent her an email asking for the WiFi logininformation and she replied within minutes. The house is pretty well equipped. There was coffee for the coffee maker but no sugar so I picked up a box at the store along with a bar of bath soap. A nightlight or two would be helpful for middle of the night bathroom visits. Overall we were quite pleased with this rental and would highly recommend it.
My family and I had an amazing stay at this cozy little home. I think my favorite thing was walking to the Mexican restaurant that is seconds away. Also I’ve stayed in dozens of of Vrbos and this home had the nicest television I’ve ever seen at a Vrbo! I would definitely stay again and actually probably will.
