6 Bedrooms 4 Bath House - 2 blocks to the beach

This 6 bedroom, 4 bath house is just 2 blocks to the Rehoboth Beach and Boardwalk AND two blocks to the main avenue with restaurants, coffee shops, many unique stores, and multiple galleries. Located between Philadephia St and Delaware Ave, this beautifully landscaped property has 2 outdoor patio areas the one on the west side of the house features hot tub and built in gas grill and large teak dining table. It is beautifully lined with trees for privacy. The east side patio features a 4 seat teak dining table and several additional chairs. There is also an outdoor shower that is shared with small cottage house on the corner of the property. Off street parking for 2 cars and 2 Rehoboth Beach parking passes available for our in season guests. With enclosed porch on 2 sides of the house, there is easy access to the house from parking area. Enter to one of 2 living room areas featuring flatscreen TV and wood burning fireplace. Up 2 steps to another living room and dining area refurnished summer of 2012. This house also features and first floor bedroom with queen size bed, cable TV and a full bath with granite and glass shower. The kitchen has plenty of counter space, electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, cable TV and seating for 4 at the breakfast table.

The second floor features 5 bedroom and 3 baths. 2 of the bedrooms each have a bunk bed and single twin bed, great for kids. Two bedrooms feature queen size beds and the two Master bedrooms at the end of the hall have King size beds and private newly renovated baths. One of the master bedrooms has vaulted ceilings, a beautiful woodburning fireplace, and a patio that comfortably seats 4-5.

The first 2 days were cool so the hot tub was great! The beach and boardwalk were a short walk, the only downside was there were a lot of people walking by the house which made it a little noisy at night, not a problem for us. David was quick to respond when we had a question. Lots of room, great trip!

The house is very close to everything, the beach and Rehoboth Ave. 6 Bedrooms lets you accommodate lots of people. The only downside is broken appliances. Toaster didn’t work and no ice makers in the fridge. You have to go to the basement to get ice. Very inconvenient. Overs as beach houses go this was pretty good. Just not 5 star.

Every year a group of us rent a house in Rehoboth to celebrate our October birthdays. This house was wonderful. Nice rooms, great outdoor space with a hot tub, lovely common space. And a lovely owner. Highly recommended.

The house was as described and is large and very comfortable, especially for a big family. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, glasses etc. However, you did have to supply your own basics such as paper towels, sponges, trash bags etc. Bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean. It has a great location and decorated nicely. However, it is an older home and it's showing it's age and needs a bit of love in certain areas. David, our host was friendly and quick to respond to our questions and needs especially with the leaky refrigerator and problem with the toilet in master bedroom. This is the first time with VRBO so I didn't realize how much we had to supply ourselves. The main thing is we were comfortable, we truly enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time.

Family vacation

This property is in an excellent location, just a block away from the beach/boardwalk and steps away from some of the best restaurants in Rehoboth Beach. This is a great house for families with children as well as the Funland amusement park is on the same street just a block away. This property also has a great back patio which is a great area to unwind with a cocktail after a long day at the beach.

Wonderful stay in Rehoboth!

We had a great family trip to Rehoboth! The location of this house can’t be beat, with a short walk to the beach and Funland. The layout of the rooms and lots of common/living room space was helpful, as well as the sunroom/wraparound porch. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was a wonderful week!

Fantastic house!

We (family of 6) had a wonderful stay at David's house in Rehoboth. It is exactly as pictured in the listing. The house is very comfortable, with lots of space to hang out. The kitchen has everything you need, including 2 refrigerators. There are 2 outdoor seating areas. We were a close walk to the beach and all of the stores on Rehoboth Ave.

Beautiful home in a great location

The home is literally a stone's throw from the main street in Rehoboth Beach. And it's at most a 5 minute walk to the beach if you're a leisurely stroller. It has all the amenities you would ever need, and there's plenty of lounging space. Very important to me are the beds, which are very comfortable. I highly recommend this home!

Family Reunion

Great stay at this house just two blocks from the beach. Everything was as described and it is especially nice that there was a large dining table with seating for 12–often homes that sleep that many still don’t have a large dining area so we really enjoyed that. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware and two refrigerators! It would be nice if sheets and towels were provided—we flew in from multiple cities and it is a pain to have to bring your own linens. Also, other than two boogie boards, there were no beach goodies—a few chairs at least and maybe a couple of pails and shovels would be a big upgrade at little cost. Overall we loved the house and would stay again.

Great location close to Rehoboth Ave

Big house cut up in discrete rooms. Good for separate space when multiple families are involved but a contrast to a more open layout. We walked to Rehoboth Ave constantly, it was so close. Beach is ~10 minute walk when fully loaded with gear. We fit 3 cars in the driveway while still leaving space for the apartment next door. Hot tub, outdoor shower and grill worked fine. Second refrigerator was very convenient. Big tables for meals were helpful. Bedrooms didn't have much space aside from beds. Plenty of bathrooms.

Vrbo listing said three days n site parking places. There were only 2. One had been given to someone else. Not cool. Master bedroom shower leaked. Had to not use it for a day or two until fixed.

I appreciate your review and you are correct there was a leak from the one shower. I responded promptly and although it did take 2 attempts it was repaired. As far as parking The listing states, 2 off street parking spots and 2 city of Rehoboth parking passes. I think there was a review where guests said they were able to squeeze 3 cars into their side of the driveway, but it is not how the property is advertised
