Calm ocean waves and warm brewzes

My husband and I stayed at Coastal Dunes Cottage 1 for several days in July, and had an amazing time. The cottage was clean and comfortable for the 2 of us. We loved the short walk to the beach. We also enjoyed a short stroll to breakfast and dinner locations.The neighbors in the other cottages were friendly and engaging.We truly enjoyed our first visit to Outer Banks!

There is limited ocean view from the deck and bedroom window. The ac/heat worked well. The cottage was a cute little place to stay and it was clean. I felt safe there even though there are 4 units close together. Could use blinds on 2 windows in the front for more privacy. I would prepared to take bath towels and wash cloths just in case the correct supply is not provided. I would stay there again. The host was very nice and communication was good.

Awesome Beachfront Stay

It's really good for having that stone's-throw distance from the Atlantic. A cozy house to get you just what you need for a basic stay. It's not ideal for privacy, but it really wasn't too bad in that regard. Property is well minded and house is in good condition with reliable AC.

Overall we were happy with the location but felt that for the price the kitchenette/ and appliances and the shower unit needs to be updated, as it had mold / mildew in the caulking.

Cute little beach bungalow

My husband and I spent 5 nights in the tiny beach house. Parking is on sand, and sand is thick. The house is older and has limited outlets. The sound of the ocean was so nice. Limited direct view, but maybe 50 yards to walk to the beach, so really close. Dunes are protected and you must walk around and not over. We took our own grill. There’s a few charcoal grills there. Walkable to Blue Moon Restaurant. Newly paved pedestrian walkway along the street. Management was on top of our minor issue and responded asap and resolved it. Definitely recommend this place for no more than 2 people. It has been a therapeutic experience.
