This house shares river access and is a short walk from penny arcades, a zip line, shops, bars and restaurants in downtown Manitou Springs. The cabin itself has its own deck just outside the dining area and also has access to the wonderful river behind.The entire home has been remodeled with a new kitchen all new electrical, flooring and new bathrooms.Too tired to cook, no problem! A few blocks walk and you are right in the middle of town with all sorts of food and beverage choices not to mention great shopping and a penny arcade. Couldn't ask for a better location. Right in town so didn't have to worry about parking and walked to coffee, shops, and dinner every night. Home had everything we were needing for the weekend. No complaints!

Our family stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. The house is in a great location- we were able to walk everywhere and skip the trouble of paid parking lots!
Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Remember to get something to put your leftovers in. Clean rooms. Couch could use an upgrade but love the size. No TV’s in bedroom, which would be nice. Easy to get to. Was a little odd to not have walls all the way to the ceiling in the bathrooms. Overall a great stay with off road parking and walking distance to all the shops. Close to pikes peak, caves and gardens of the gods!
We had such a great stay. We were impressed with how everything is within walking distance from the house. It was everything our family needed for our stay and we will definitely book again our next stay in Colorado!
We loved it! Very clean. Nice remodel. Great location. Loved Fountain creek! Easy walking to town. Tons to do in town. We will be back. Comfy bed. Slept so good!
This place is a mixed bag. Great location near the busy downtown. Good parking for two cars if one is kinda small. Weird combination of newly updated and "needs work". Bathroom had no towel bars. Kitchen was oddly stocked and not all that clean, no hot pads but a brand new dishwasher. Staircase to 2nd floor bedroom is steep and narrow.

Thank you for your review. We will add hot pads and most definitely do a deep clean of all the home. There are towel bars and yes the stairs are steep but there is a hand rail to ensure safety of our guests.
Loved the location and how the town is within walking distance. This unit was one of the nicest that we have stayed at that also allows for a pet. Would rent this place out again
Cabin was very clean and well equipped. Location was wonderful with just a short walk into town. Love the Manitou area.

After Seth had retired from going to three Olympic games, we decided that we had more than sports and a love of fencing in common. Turns out, Seth and I have a passion for homes. We bought this home as a project to work on together after we had already completely remodeled another home. Turns out, remodeling a home and two cabins built in 1891 is a whole new level of difficult. But, we did it and this home is our labor of love!!We do hope you enjoy our recently finished product!
Why they chose this property
Both Seth and I LOVE Manitou Springs! Manitou is such a wonderful little town that really does a great job of providing fun activities and festivals year round. From Arts Festivals, to Marathons, to Coffin Races Manitou Springs is a happening place year round. What's more, we took one look at the creek and just how relaxing it was to sit and hear the sound of the water and enjoy the huge trees overhead while also being in the middle of town and we were all in!
What makes this property unique
It really is a special treat to be within walking distance to everything and yet feel as though you can get away from it all with just a short walk back to your home away from home.
