Overall great property! Could have used a dishwasher as it is a house that accommodates 12 people….lots of dishes to do! Loved the Christmas tree set in place for us - gave the weekend a great Christmas vibe!
We enjoyed our stay! Stone House restaurant was amazing! The house was exactly as shown. The hot tub was enjoyed by all. I loved listening to the creek out back.
We enjoyed the huge house and property. The children played in the bubbling brook for hours . There are so many things to do in the area. We went whitewater rafting and also went Cucumber Falls and the natural water slide. The natural slide was the hit for the family. There was a few things I wanted to note. One of the remotes were gone upstairs and also the door was scratched up before we got there. It would be nice to have more than 2 towels for the kitchen. Otherwise the house was great the kitchen was stocked with plenty of pots pans utensils and dishes. Lots of towels to use on outdoor fun too.
Our family enjoyed our ten day stay at Cedar Lodge. The house is nestled in the woods with beautiful and ample yard space. Our grandchildren eenjoyed running around outside and climbing down to the creek. OVR promptly handled two calls that needed attention. They were very nice to work with.
Clean property, great location, good wifi. Poor water pressure and soft, but very typical of a well water system. Needs some TLC, the coffee maker trips the breakers in the kitchen. Some of the drawers need help.
This was a great place to stay with my women's group. Plenty of space for all of us. The only issue and reason I gave it 4 stars is because we were there in January and downstairs can get very cold even with the heat. Lots of window but fireplace was not a working fireplace. Overall great place to stay.

Reviewer Comments:
We enjoyed our stay at Cedar Lodge. It was a good size for our family weekend. Unfortunately for us it rained all weekend, but we were still able to enjoy family time. Especially enjoyed the hot tub.
The house was really nice the yard was even better. The location worked well for us. Cornhole was provided and a nice fire pit set right next to a creek with a little waterfall. The hot tub was used and it was nice that it was on a covered back deck with a picnic table which we used for every meal. The only negative is the beds were really really uncomfortable. Other than that though this day was great

We enjoyed the large family room with plenty of space and seating for everyone to relax. We wanted to have a fire in the fireplace, but that was against the rules. The weather was fine, so we were able to use the fire pit instead.
This rental was a mixed bag for us. One bedroom leaked, but the owner refunded a portion to compensate. There is a mouse (mice?) in the house and wasps in the shell of the hot tub. The kitchen was well set up with dishes and flatware, but only one pot. Lots of frying pans.
That being said, the house set up is perfect for a group like ours with the large dining room and small reading area off the kitchen. Everything was clean when we arrived. The Yard is amazing with plenty of room for games and hammocks. The fire pit is very nice and well placed in the back of the yard. The creek was wonderful to listen to and to wade in. We even enjoyed the charcoal grill,
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There were some interesting things to do in the area. Some maintenance would make this a really great vacation home.
Enjoyed our stay at Cedar Lodge very much. Regrettably, we had to leave a day earlier than reserved. A cozy and spacious home in a lovely rural area, close to several historical and architectural treasures and a few nice places to eat. Only issue was that the place had a pretty noticeable musty odor, maybe from recent rains, to the point where it affected the sleep of one member of our group. Otherwise, a very nice place for gathering with family & friends.
Property was great! Good space outside for activities, including hot tub and fire pits. Close to many other outdoor activities. Would stay again if our travels brought us this way.
This house is great. We stayed in this house a few years back and enjoyed our time there. We were supposed to stay here again a few weeks ago but unfortunately there was an issue at the property and we were moved to a different house at the last minute. I am sure nothing has changed at the Cedar Lodge and we would have had a great time there however as I said, we did not get to stay there this time. The house we stayed in was equally nice and we the same ratings I gave above apply to it as well. It was a little frustrating to be asked by the system multiple times to rate a house you didn't stay in. It seems the VRBO system should be a bit more flexible than it is.
Outstanding trip, enjoyed caverns, whitewater rafting, Fallingwater and nature. House was well equipped, clean and a perfect place to eat and rest between activities. Hot tub added to the relaxing time with friends and family. Also there is a great park that we enjoyed for disc golf and pickleball. Cedar lodge made a perfect home away from home.
We had a great time at Cedar Lodge. The yard, firepit, and creek were perfect for playing and relaxing. The house was cute and convenient to all activities we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice but needs a lot of repair
Beds had dead bugs under sheets. Back porch was dirty and chairs were falling apart. Charcoal grill bottom had a huge hole in it. Both toilets rocked when you used them. Outdoor space was flat and nice by a stream.
We loved this beautiful lodge that had something for everyone. We were able to relax and play in the creek everyday and was surprisingly warm for this time of year. Our dogs loved their long walks in the big yard. Everyone found a comfortable bed and slept well.
Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
