Away from the hustle and bustle of it all, and only 4 miles from the beach, this new 2 story single family home is located in a private gated community and is completely furnished. Two bedroom and two and a half bathroom home can sleep up to six guests comfortably. This newly constructed home has an open floor plan which includes a full size kitchen, featuring granite counter tops and fully equipped with all kitchen appliances and accessories including a dish washer. It includes an open dining room area with a table that accommodates 6 guests and a view of the bay from the table. The living room also has a beautiful view of the bay and a large flat screen TV with cable. It has a comfortable queen size sofa sleeper to accommodate extra guests. A half bath is also located on the first floor. The stackable washer/ dryer are located on the second floor of the home. The master bed room has a queen size bed, walk-in closet and a flat screen TV. The views of the South Padre Island skyline from this bedroom are incredible. It also has an on suite master bath featuring a granite counter top vanity and tub shower. The home is equipped with high speed wireless internet and cable TV. Its modern nautical décor captures a subtle coastal feel in each of the rooms. The second bedroom has two twin sized beds, closet, and smart TV. Each bedroom also has its own bathroom with granite counter top and tub shower. In the backyard, the house has an outdoor seating area with a covered patio, perfect for watching birds, dolphins, evening sunsets and summer fireworks displays. Aside from the incredible views you also have access to common area amenities such as a swimming pool with hot tub, basketball court, playground set and fishing pier. The pier also has a ramp for kayak access and the area is a popular spot for wade fishing. Two private parking spaces are found directly in the front of the home.

Very quiet neighbor, felt totally safe. Just a few miles over the bridge to South Padre Island. So close without being in the midst of all the hotels and condos. The house included a community pool that was a nice big beautiful area.

This stay is amazing! It is actually better than the photos. Breathtaking view welcomed us as soon as we got in the house. One tip is this place is not for beach swimmers, it's more for fishers.

The property was awsome! Beautiful views of the bay. Everything was so close by, HEB, starbucks, Wal-Mart, and baitshops. Caught a ladyfish and redfish right out back. We used the lady fish to catch a shark on the beach. I would give this place 10 stars if we could.

The Laguna Madre Backyard

Exactly what we wanted, not in the city to avoid the hustle and bustle, but near enough to everything we might need. The awesome lower Laguna Madre as the backyard and it is shallow so it doesn't have the usual noisy boating activity. I lived and worked in the area many years ago so I knew exactly what we were getting and where! The house was perfect and had everything we needed. Our stay was as perfect as we expected! Thank you and you can expect us back in the future.
