The host was very welcoming and friendly. There were many more amenities than we expected. I would not have needed to bring as mush stuff as I did. Much of what I brought was already here.
We stayed at this wonderful property for 5 weeks and enjoyed ourselves immensely! The property sits on an entrance canal location that easily leads to ocean/reef/fishing access. But if you just want to spend the day on the large screened in porch, you can watch other boats slowly passing by and even manatee families. Key deer are a common entertainment as they loved to eat the dropped flowers from the property trees. There are mangroves just outside the canal (both directions) and much time was spent kayaking. If you are without means to see many fish, just simply look down into the water from the property dock area to see mangrove snapper, parrot fish, small barracuda and others. The house itself was pretty perfect, very clean and so comfortable. Most of what you will need is already there as far as basic supplies. And a nearby grocery store solves any further necessities. The large 2nd story screened in porch was our favorite spot. We also enjoyed the lower level tiki hut seating. If you fish, the ice maker, bait freezers and fish cleaning station are great perks. The nearest reefs are within a 20 minute boat ride for awesome snorkeling experiences! We will definitely return to this property if possible!Andrea & JimmyNC April-May 2026

Wonderful home with lots of character.
We had a wonderful 10 night stay! The home is very comfortable and well stocked. The screened porch is a must for evening sitting as the bugs will eat you alive. We brought our 23’ boat and the dock is in good shape with easy, deep water access to the channel. Plenty of room for our trailer as well as our truck. Kayaks and bikes were a nice touch. We had an issue with the refrigerator not working upon arrival. The property manager, Jason was there the next day to take a look. Unfortunately, it couldn’t be repaired, so we had 5 days of living out of the mini fridge which we brought upstairs to the kitchen, until the new one arrived. We know things break and it worked out fine in the end, not a big deal. We plan on coming back again and again. Don’t hesitate to book this great home!
We were very happy with the house, the view, outside area was set up very nice and we spent a lot of time out there when we were not in our boat. Plenty of dock space and parking. 1st choice for when we return to the keys. Communication was easy with owner and associates. Thank you
Property had everything you need. Plenty of space, very accessible, boat was no trouble to get in and out to open waters, plenty of parking, short distance to grocery store and ice maker and bait freezer on property. Smooth sailing...
We very much enjoyed our second year at this property. The new additions of the bait freezer and ice maker are amazing! My husband says we can not stay anywhere else. Do not hesitate to stay here, I promise you will love it.

GREAT STAY ON BIG PINE!!
My wife, Stacy and I and our four kids loved our stay on Big Pine. Mango lane is quiet and the house was perfect. It was clean and comfy with direct access to the water via the canal that backs up to the property. I loved spending my mornings on the back patio/balcony, drinking coffee and watching the boats pass by. The property has an equipped kitchen or a grill on the patio, if you prefer. Two full bathrooms, two bedrooms and two of my kids slept on the two couches in the living room. Direct TV and flat panel TVs in three of the rooms. Plenty of space for our stay and a short drive to Key West!!! We enjoyed our stay and plan on going back!

About the host

My brother and I went on a fishing trip when we were kids to the Marquesas Keys, 20 miles west of Key West. We promised ourselves that we would find a way back to the Keys. After 20 years of saving and searching, we managed to find our little patch of paradise!
