Wending your way up a very steep road from the coast, you will find yourselves at a modern, top of the range eco-friendly house which ticks all the boxes.

It is such fun to find a house with two swimming pools. Both are the same size with a large wooden terrace nearby. The view from the pool seating area is beautiful, the owners have designed a glass wall between the two pools so that the eye line is uninterrupted.

Red umbrellas are dotted about the place with a really comfortable outdoor L shaped sofa from where you can enjoy a cold glass of something refreshing while the children swim.

Walls around the pool have been built sympathetically out of local quarried stone and there are two outdoor showers.

Inside the house is modern and clean-lined. There are beautiful comfortable bedrooms and good sized bathrooms (some made from polished concrete so very state of the art). Each bedroom has huge windows and most over look the beautiful view and some have their own terrace. But all are comfortable with big beds and crisp white sheets.

Two great kitchens are in the lower ground floor which make it nice and cool, there are stone floors throughout and everything works brilliantly!

Being above Nissaki means it is easy to get to the lovely beaches of Agni and Kouloura - still striking distance of the ever-popular San Stefano and Kassiopi.

Local Information
Corfu, famed for it’s glorious greenery and luscious interior, has become an immensely popular and luxurious destination. Often attracting the A list, this divine island offers stunning beaches, great night life, delectable restaurants and boat hopping between small and quaint tavernas meaning that even the most restless of pleasure seeker will be happy!

The north east coast is full of outstanding bays and white pebbled coves, higher up, away from the coast the interior is home to birds of prey, rare flora and rural simplicity. Water sports a-plenty can be found on many of the local beaches.

Nearby St Stephano is a simple and pretty harbour with seafront tavernas and a delightful beach.

For the teenagers the night life in Kassiopi is a short drive up the coast.

This is a fine place to spend a family holiday or with a close group of friends, potter into town for delicious local delicacies, take a small boat around the cove to a tiny taverna for a long, lazy lunch of fresh fish and come home to a delicious dinner on the terrace under the stars.

One of the greatest pleasures of this gorgeous, wooded stretch of coast is that the sea-fronted properties are so accessible by boat. You can spend your mornings stopping off to swim at one or other pebbly cove, admiring the views of mainland Albania before seeking out a new taverna for lunch. All the tavernas have their own wooden jetties and their owners will wave you in, catch your rope and tie up your boat before handing you their menu.

Corfu town has a wonderful selection of shops and restaurants. It is possible to take a guided walk through the old town, stopping on the way for sustenance in any one of the many bars filled with beautiful people.

The island’s capital is a rambling and delightful mix of cultures, traditions and architecture. There is a French built promenade, cricket on the Esplanade and a venetian elegance that encompasses the town.

Location:
Nissaki is in the north east of the island about 30 km from the airport.
There are many lovely beaches nearby such as Agni (which also has several great tavernas) and Kouloura.
The nearest beach is a 20 minute walk and a 10 minute drive.

It is possible to hire a boat hire, a kayak, water ski and wake-board at Kaminaki which is a 10 minute drive
You can scuba dive at Krouzeri which is a 10 minute drive

Nearby Kaminaki has a supermarket

It is a 15 minute drive up to the little buzzy town of San Stefano, a 20 minute drive to Kassiopi and a 40 minute drive to Corfu Town.
