Wonderful property and hosts! Kitchen was fully stocked, beds were very comfortable, and the location is PERFECT. Just a few very short blocks from Forsyth Park, Mate Factor (my favorite Savannah find!), and Kroger. Street parking is a little tricky; there isn't always a place to park, even on the adjoining streets.

Thank you for the wonderful review. We're glad Poet's Sanctuary hit the mark — the stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and that walkable location near Forsyth Park, Mate Factor, and Kroger. Appreciate the parking note; street parking can be limited at peak times. For future stays, arriving earlier or using nearby public lots/garages can help. Hope to host you again. - The Lucky Team

This a a beautiful clean place in the Historic District! It had everything you needed for a great stay and the communication with the host was 10 stars. Any question we had was answered within minutes. Within walking distance of beautiful Forsyth Park where there is a great restaurant for breakfast or lunch. The beds were so comfortable and the neighborhood is super quiet. This home was perfect and we hope to be back!

We really enjoyed this house. It was clean, lovely and had everything we needed. It was nice to be able to walk to many places from there so we didn’t have to worry about parking. There are a lot of steps in the home so if anyone can’t do steps, it is not the place for them.

Fully and beautifully equipped kitchen.Highly walkable city and location. We only got a car for one day at the end to visit Tybee Island, and Savannah wildlife refuge. Parking was easy right out front. We did have to move off GastonSt. For street sweeping but found a spot very nearby on Price St.

Overall, the unit is clean and comfortable. It meets the needs of a small group wanting to walk to Savannah sights. The block around it is lovely. The unit itself is not historic or unique but it is a nice place to stay. The listing conveys an outdoor eating space with a grill. There was no grill when we arrived. Response from the company was ‘sorry about that’. The selling point for me was the unique outdoor setting. The indoor kitchen was adequate but minimal supplies. If you’re planning to cook a lot bring supplies and don’t expect to grill. Unless they are planning to replace it soon but I never heard back about it. Steps downward right inside the entry door so don’t come in without pausing to turn on lights and look down.

The home isn’t just lovely, it’s centrally located next to Forsyth Park and within easy walking distance of the historic district. The layout is amazing, very Savannah feel to it. Loved having access to the back porch and the updated kitchen. The hosts were also very accommodating and communicative, and even allowed us to enter the house after check out when we forgot something in the bedroom. We would recommend a stay here, and may do so again in the future.

Perfect little place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying at the poets sanctuary. It had everything we needed, and everything was so clean. The location was pretty good, but we still ended up driving to several places but it wasn’t bad. The only negative thing would be walking in the door and immediately having steps down into the dining room.
