ABOUT THIS SPACE
A Natures Getaway is nestled in the woods in a quiet setting within 4 miles of the heart of Nashville. The space is decorated cute and the space is cozy, comfy and homey. Newly renovated charming 2 bedroom 1 bathroom, Kitchenette, and an outdoor patio sitting area.
Downtown Nashville and the Brown County Playhouse are about a 7 minute drive away while the Brown County Music Center and Hard Truth Distillery are also a short drive away.

THE SPACE
The space is 3 acres of open beautiful woods and open nature and a couple of short walking trails. There is a covered patio with comfortable seating for four. There is a kitchenettle that has the necessities for cooking a simple meal. The kitchenette is provided with a refridgerator, microwave, plates/silverware/glassware, a keurig coffee pot with pods and water, an air fryer and a toaster.
There is a Blackstone grill, charcoal grill and a propane fireplace with seating.
The bathroom has a bathtub with a full tile shower walls and glass doors. Shamppo/Conditioner/bodywash are provided. There is also an iron and a blow dryer provided.
In the winter, my husband has a skid steer that he clears the snow with so winter months are accessible.

GUEST ACCESS
Full access to the lower level of the house (1200 sq ft), covered patio, yard, creek and short walking trails.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Bloomington, IU Campus, Monroe Lake, Lake Lemon are also about a 15-30 mintue drive away.
Indianapolis International Airport is less than an hour away.
We do have 3 beautiful German Shepherds. They are the most friendly and caring dogs and they LOVE having guests.

This was an amazingly sweet find. We were celebrating our 18th Anniversary and this was a person. Clean, comfortable, well stocked with essentials you may have forgotten at home. Owners were so kind and responsive. We were close to everything, but in a peaceful environment. Highly recommended.

Great accommodations, very close to the North Entrance to Brown County Park. Hosts were great. They were proactive to provide the check-in information and provided great advice about local bars/restaurants. There is only a kitchenette, but that was all that we needed for our short stay.

Teresa is a fantastic host! Great communication! Property was just as described and perfect for two couples. While close enough to town, the setting is extremely peaceful and relaxing with zero noise! They have 3 great dogs that were very friendly. Highly recommend this property! We will be back!

If I could give this property 100 stars I would. Everything about our stay was perfect. The accommodations, the communication, the dogs, and especially the hosts. The hosts recommended restaurants, things to do in the area, and sat out on the patio with us just talking about life. The three dogs were an extra bonus who guarded us and gave us love. We are already looking at dates to book again. If you are in the Nashville, Indiana area, this is the place to stay!

Perfect place for a weekend getaway. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We loved their dogs, and they were very friendly. You are staying on their property, so if you are not a dog person, this may not work for you. We had a wonderful time and would recommend.

3stars on check in process only because the housekeeper accidentally locked the door and we had to wait for the owners to come and unlock it. It was not their fault but it was an inconvenience. It didn’t take long for owners to show up

Why they chose this property

My husband was raised on this property and so were our four grown children! If the walls could talk…you would hear some amazing stories! We love the area because of the woods and plenty of nature to observe. We are close to all of towns fun activites but yet not in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

What makes this property unique

Our property is unique because we are not far from all of the activities of Little Nashvile but we set quaint in the woods with privacy and a flowing creek out front. Nature is fun to watch from the cute private porch right outside your door.
