Great Location! Ocean Front Condo - Family Vacation Resort

This property is located directly on the beach in the beautiful ocean side city of Cocoa Beach, Florida. This property offers a stylish updated accommodations filled with a variety of conveniences and an excellent location.

The two bedroom condo features a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room and dining room for up to six guests. The primary bedroom features a comfortable king size bed. The guest bedroom has two twin beds. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room. Maximum occupancy, six guests. Guests can enjoy the ocean view from their private balcony.

This property has activities for the entire family. After spending the day at the beach, guests can go for a swim in the outdoor pool, grab a drink or refreshment at the Tiki bar, play poolside bingo, play billiards and ping pong in the game room, and children's activities in the activity center. Guests can also enjoy the numerous amenities including basketball courts, tennis courts, pickleball, fitness center, sauna, onsite restaurant and daily scheduled activities.

Guests may rent beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards for a fee (based on availability).

*PLEASE NOTE: The property assigns unit numbers (including floor) in advance of arrival (for all guests). These units are not individually owned and have the same kitchens, bathrooms, bedding, décor, etc. All units are alike and can be located between the second and seventh floor. All units have an excellent ocean front view except for the units on the second floor. The second floor has a limited ocean view due to a protected sand dune with palm trees and sea grape trees that limit visibility to the ocean. Guests may request a high floor in advance of their stay. Please note while every effort is made to accommodate requests, requests are not guaranteed.

Discovery Beach Resort will be undergoing a roof replacement project beginning April 27, 2026. The project is expected to last approximately four consecutive weeks, weather permitting. Work will take place Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00PM.

We do not accept liability for any inconveniences beyond our control including but not limited to temporary defects or outage of utilities, closures of resort amenities, or limitation of any other service. We will not provide refunds, reimbursements, or compensation for inconvenience or interruption of utilities, resort amenities, or any other service.

Wonderful vacation

Great location on the beach! Comfortable, well stocked condo. Great restaurant on site! Overall was a little dated and could use some updating. Pool was a little small for the size of the resort, kids were not able to use it much as there were frequently no chairs available. But loved playing pickle ball. Court was perfect and well lit at night. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Great location. Close to pier.

The property was very well kept. The room was clean and came with all towels and linens. It has a great view of the space center for launches. It was nice having covered parking also. Our kids really enjoyed the basketball court and other activities. I would highly recommend staying here and would not hesitate to come back.

Great location

Great location right on the beach and the beach area wasn't very busy for being Spring Break week. Rooms are a little outdated, but clean and served their purpose. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant and bar on site was nice, but short staffed so we waited a long time for food and drinks. We had lunch one day there that was very good. However, I would avoid the fish fry on Friday night--it wasn't very good.

Has everything you need

I went to the property for work but was able to enjoy a couple of amenities while there. Although I didn't spend a whole lot of time there due to work, the staff was pleasant and I liked that it worked like a hotel. If you need anything the front desk is available. There is also a security guard on site. The lodging building is connected to a restaurant to make eating convenient. They also offer rentals of just about anything right at the property. No issues. Would stay again.

Spring Break

We had a great trip away for Spring Break! Cocoa beach is beautiful and peaceful and everything you need is so close! We did 2 separate day trips to Orlando for Universal studios. It is only a 45 min drive and it’s so nice to return to the calm beach area after the hustle and bustle of the amusement parks. The resort has amazing friendly staff and everything you need is there. After reading reviews before booking, I took others advice of checking in early to get a room higher then the 2nd floor for good views of the ocean. It worked out and we could enjoy a nice balcony view of the ocean. We Would definitely recommend this property!!

Great place, great location

Our family throughly enjoyed staying here. The rooms were clean, and the entire staff was friendly. The location was close to so much where we were comfortable with our teen children walking to many places. We were walking distance to the grocery store and a number of restaurants. We had great views from our balcony and loved keeping our door cracked at night to listen to the waves hit the beach. Chairs were available to rent for the week to use on the beach. The pool was nice and one of the days during our stay there was a band. There was plenty of other entertainment for the kids when they needed to get out of the sun. They took advantage of the game room, basketball, and tennis courts. There’s also a little bar with a restaurant. This place has everything, and we would stay here an again in a heartbeat!

To level the playing field for my fellow travelers, a few things should be brought to the forefront that are not necessarily "illuminated" in this listing. Property is advertised as multiple condos on floors 2-7 for rent and room requests are assigned on a first come, first serve basis. We arrived at noon on a Friday and were told by the front desk that the second floor was the only available and that the higher floors are always booked....not what we expected. The view from the second floor is of sea grapes and palm trees with a glimpse of the ocean's horizon. It was OK but we were all disappointed not to be able to see the beach from the balcony. Also, all the games in the game room, pool tables, beach bikes, boogie boards, umbrellas, chairs etc, all cost extra....nothing included with the room. Beach access is odd as there are only paths along the north and south ends of the building. The pool and the tiki bar are both next to a parking lot. If it were my property, I would clear out enough of the sea grapes on the beach side for the pool, the bar and an ocean walkway. The good news is that there is a Dunkin Donuts, a Publix, several great restaurants and the Cocoa Beach pier all within walking distance. Tennis/basketball courts were very nice and the covered parking a plus. Hopefully this helps others "know before you go".

Thank you for your review. High floors are available for guests who arrive on Saturdays and you can expect a very good chance of a great ocean view above the 2nd floor. Floor requests are provided on a first come first serve basis and guests may arrive as early as 9am to request a high floor. The sand dune is federally protected and the property trims it twice a year to the lowest height allowed by law. Regarding the activities... This property offers more to do than almost every other property in Cocoa Beach including a daily schedule of activities such as group fitness classes, poolside bingo, arts and crafts, and live entertainment at the pool. Additional free activities include basketball and tennis equipment, ping pong, fitness center, and saunas. There's also an on-site activities staff and front desk staff that can provide local recommendations. The pool is adjacent to ten parking spaces and separated by a large white fence for privacy.

The on line booking was easy. I loved having an actual person to talk with at check in. The accommodations were as advertised, ocean front with large balcony, clean. Centrally located to do everything we planned, air boat, Kennedy Space Center etc. We will certainly consider Vrbo again!

From check in to check out and everything in between was VERY efficient and stress free. Outstanding stay. We stayed in the two bedroom with our 5, 4 and 1 year old and it was perfect. Extremely clean, nice staff, clean pool/hot tub, easy walk to the beach, fast elevators, kind people and staff. There’s a restaurant/bar in house that is great and easy. Very happy with our stay. Another great vacation in Cocoa Beach

Condo was spacious with plenty of room for our active boys. Balcony was large with a view of the ocean, I suggest getting a room on the third floor or above for the best views. Onsite restaurant was good and the tiki bar was fun. The location was good right near the pier with only a short drive to Ron John's and tourist spots. Would definitely return.

Great place in a perfect location. My wife and I along with our three children, spent two weeks over the Christmas and New Year. Check in was fast. Front desk staff provided map of the surrounding area with places worth noting. The apartment is not very big, but has everything you need, with a great view of the ocean. Lots of pool and bath towels, pool towels can be exchanged for dry ones during the day and the bath towels are replaced 2 times a week. Clean well maintained building and grounds with direct beach access. My wife likes cooking and needed extra pots which were provided immediately after asking. Everything was thought through in terms of mop, vacuum, sponges.... The area is not very busy, but located within walking distance to a few tourist shops and attractions. Mall, grocery stores, fish markets, cinema and anything else you can think of is just a short drive away. Everything was above my expectations and the staff seamed to go above and beyond to accommodate the stay. My whole family loved it here and if we decide to come back to Cocoa Beach, we will stay here again.
