Ocean Front Condo - Excellent Location Next to Pier! Family Friendly!

This property is located directly on the beach in the beautiful ocean side city of Cocoa Beach. The property offers stylish updated accommodations filled with a variety of conveniences and an excellent location.

The two bedroom condo features a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room and dining room for six guests. The primary bedroom features a comfortable king size bed. The guest bedroom has two twin beds. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room. Maximum occupancy, six guests. Each bedroom has a TV. Guests can enjoy the ocean view from the private balcony.

This property has activities for the entire family. After spending the day at the beach, guests can go for a swim in the heated pool, grab a drink or refreshment at the Tiki bar, play poolside bingo, play billiards and ping pong in the game room, and children's activities in the activity center. Guests can also enjoy the numerous amenities including basketball courts, tennis courts, pickleball, fitness center, sauna, onsite restaurant and weekly scheduled activities.

Guests may rent beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards for a fee (based on availability). There's an activities desk to help you get the most enjoyment from your vacation which offers basketball, tennis, pickleball and ping pong equipment at no additional charge.

*PLEASE NOTE: The property assigns unit numbers (including floor) in advance of arrival (for all guests). These units are not individually owned and have the same kitchens, bathrooms, bedding, decor, etc. All units are alike and can be located between the second and seventh floor. All units have an excellent ocean front view except for the units on the second floor. The second floor has a limited ocean view due to a protected sand dune with palm trees and sea grape trees that limit visibility to the ocean. Guests may request a high floor in advance of their stay. Please note while every effort is made to accommodate requests, requests are not guaranteed.

Renovations to some units are scheduled for August 23 to November 22. Guests may expect some noise during this time period.

We do not accept liability for any inconveniences beyond our control including but not limited to temporary defects or outage of utilities, closures of resort amenities, or limitation of any other service. Awesome Ocean front stay

Discovery Beach is an awesome affordable oceanfront stay. Heated pool, hot tub , pickleball and basketball courts, on site restaurant and tiki bar makes it all very convenient and relaxing. We were able to view 3 rocket launches while there. And the staff is amazing, very friendly and willing to help if needed. We will definitely be back!

Great location on the beach within walking distance to the pier. Definitely, stay on floor 3 or higher or views will be blocked. Super easy check in and checkout. Fun to watch the cruise ships come in and out daily. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved everything about this property. Awesome views. Very friendly staff. Would definetly stay there again. You just have to hope you have an upper floor and you won't know until you get there, that was a little frustrating since the view from under the 4th floor wouldn't be great. Close to the pier, great beach and pool.

Thank you for your review. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. Regarding the view, you actually have a great view from the 3rd floor. That is the actual view in the pictures online. For guests who would like a high floor, I recommend to make a request upon at the time of booking. I cannot guarantee a high floor but the staff will try their best to provide the highest floor available. The view from the 2nd floor is an Ocean Front view and you actually can see the Ocean but only when standing on the balcony.

Wonderful winter getaway spot! Clean, fun, nice amenities and friendly staff

Our stay here was awesome! We just wanted time away from the Midwest’s winter without the spring break crowd other beaches get and this spot was great! Everything was extremely clean in the room, the staff was all friendly and they adhered to social distancing and masks pretty well. The beach access was really convenient too (you could be at the beach from your room in 5 minutes). The pool was clean and the restaurant had good food too.

The two bedroom room was very spacious, and was lucky enough to get on the 3rd Floor and the views were amazing. Only downside was no daily housekeeping. But would definitely stay here again.

Unbelievable Week!!

Our weeklong stay was absolutely perfect. The room was great, the staff was wonderful and the other guests were a blast to interact with. This place as a nice pool and hot tub and beautiful beach access as well as tons of activities to take part in. It's also super close to many necessary stops in Cocoa Beach such as the Pier and Ron Jon's. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I am so happy that we were finally giving a higher floor level. The weather was a bit chilly this visit, but still had all the comforts of home. The restaurant on-site really came in handy when I did not feel like cooking. I was surprised that our unit did not have a smart tv, but it really didn't matter. The beach and area are beautiful!!!

Fantastic Views From Our Balcony and everythin we needed!

Overall our room had everything we needed and the view was fantastic! Really like being able to rent chairs, umbrellas, etc in the lobby for a reasonable daily price. The owner answered all questions promptly and was very easy to work with. I only gave the resort itself four stars because on the last day they wanted to charge us 5.00 per each plastic band that we had for the pool and each key that we did not turn in. It was our understanding that it would cost us if we needed to replace them while we were there not turn them in. After much discussion it was resolved easily but I thought that was a little much

VRBO needs to update check in info.

It clearly says you can arrive at 9 AM to select a room the day you check in. So we drove all day, 17 hours and stayed the night on the beach in another hotel then headed over at nine and nobody at the front desk had any clue what I was talking about. They said several other people had been there asking the same thing. One of the ladies working the desk was extremely rude and upset. When I told her I have the email showing to come at nine she said “I don’t care what it says!”. This was my first interaction at the resort. Another lady was very nice and actually tried to give me a room. Rooms ARE NOT all identical as the listing says. Some have bedrooms in the back of the unit while others have the master bedroom on the ocean side with sliding doors to the patio that spans down past the living room. Our room was REALLY NICE and we couldn’t have been happier but I also was offered a room on the second floor that was clean but didn’t offer a view and had both bedrooms in the back of the unit. Luckily, they gave me a room on the third floor, with a great view and the master with its own balcony. Loved the place and would stay again. Several restaurants and bars within walking distance including the pier.

Thank you for booking with us. The resort is under new management and had not informed us prior to your arrival about the new arrival procedures. We have updated the listing and email confirmations. Guests are no longer encouraged to arrive early to request a high floor. Additionally, all condos for rental guests are identical with the same furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, decor, bedding, and layout. Sometimes guests are upgraded to a condo with a "double balcony" (which are typically reserved for owners and seldom for guests of owners or renters). I'm glad that you were very happy with the condo assigned to you and arriving early seemed to have helped you get that unit. We've provided the resort management with your feedback regarding a rude staff member. Rudeness should not be tolerated. Thank you for your feedback.
