About this property

Just Steps to the Beach and Oceanfront Bar and Grill!

This raised single level (16 steps up to door) open floor plan villa rental is an easy walk to the beach, tennis, golf, General Store and Outfitters. Parking is located under the building. You'll notice all-new luxury Vinyl Plank flooring throughout! The Primary bedroom features en-suite Master Bathroom with separate dressing area, Flat Screen TV and balcony access.

The Primary bathroom is a tiled tub and shower combination. The Guest Bedroom also features an en-suite Guest Bathroom, Flat Screen TV with slider to the deck. The Guest Bathroom is a tiled tub and shower combination as well. The Kitchen comes fully equipped and looks out to the Dining and Living areas. The Dining table has seating for six. The Living Room features all-new furniture with its Queen Sleeper Sofa, love seat, recliner and side chair. There is also a Flat Screen TV and DVD player along with the slider to the deck. There is an additional Guest Bathroom with washer/dryer off the main hallway, which features a tiled walk-in shower.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Condo complex and its location was nice. I have stayed in Palmetto Dunes many times because I love the convenience to everything on the Island. As for 6768 the condo was very spacious but had several issues. I called maintenance twice but they never responded or showed up to fix any of them! The AC on one side of the unit did not work well. It was hot during most of the day. The other side worked fine. We only had enough hot water for one or two folks to shower; After that you’d have to wait for the water to heat up again. The stopper in the bathroom sink was broken so we had to “rig” it to be able to use the sink. A window in one rest room would not close all the way and there was no screen so creepy crawlers had as much access to the condo as we did. We saw several water bugs in the unit as a result. The balconies were full of bird poop so we couldn’t enjoy them. Lastly the unit had an odor. We sprayed freshener constantly. I think it’s because it’s directly over the garbage receptacle. I don’t know why they’d put trash directly under a unit like that. Like I said I loved to spaciousness and location of the unit and it’s proximity to everything including the beach. If they would fix those nuisances it would be a great vacay get away.

Like many things, it could use a few updates (shower heads, dishwasher, and a bit of paint repair); but nothing concerning enough that it took away from the trip.

A few suggestions : a grab bar for the showers in both the master and the guest baths; could use some deeper bowls and small plates in kitchen; the TVs can be challenging - some written directions would help. Otherwise everything seemed fine.

Be aware that the address if 6788 actually consists of two rooms (67 & 68) with accommodations that can sleep 4 comfortably, and up to 6 if required. It was not clear to us in the original description that this has one entry door; but for two sections of the floorpan. One section #68 is a bedroom with two beds and a bathroom/shower. The section #67 was the main section with one bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bathroom in master bedroom and one 1/2 bath with shower in the entry area.

Villa very dated and disappointing.

The closeness of the villa to the beach was wonderful! But that is not enough. The condo is very dated. The bathrooms and showers need repair and the floors and baseboards were dusty and dirty at our arrival. The vertical blinds seemed to be decades old and parts would fall of no matter how gingerly you opened them. The kitchen lacked useful equipment, cutting board, S&P, etc. The place definitely needs repairs, cleaning and updating. For the price I expected more.

Please know that we are prohibited by the Dept. of Health from providing pantry items such as S&P due to the possibility of contamination. Great beach for a walk!

Close proximity to beach and so convenient to restaurants! Decor beautiful with warm colors on furniture and bedding and accessories top notch. Bathrooms and kitchen counters need updating. Enjoyed porches! Temperatures inside were comfortable.

Nice Location

This condo was nicely decorated. It appears to be two units that were made into one. I liked the large second room/bathroom for the kids. It was away from the master and the living area enough to give everyone a little privacy. The location was great, 5 minute walk to the beach. The unit also has 3 baths which was super nice. The only negative thing I would say is the appliances in the kitchen need to be updated and the hall bath and the master bath's showers were not in the best shape and could use some updating as well.

Great Location

This villa was in a great location. Very clean and well stocked. The only issue was the renters upstairs were loud but you can’t ever control that and it had nothing to do with our villa.
