Great beach rental

The property is great - exactly as pictured. Perfect location right on the beach. Our two families, four adults and two kids, stayed together comfortably for a rainy week. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent overall location (quiet, clean beach). Clean, up to date, spacious property. They have a few chairs and an umbrella, which were helpful. Beautiful beachfront screen porch. Would definitely stay again!

The location was great, loved our beach front access! The condo had everything we needed for our stay, including a closet full of beach toys and accessories. We had our family of 6 and everyone was comfortable - kids aged 21, 19, 14 & 13. Would for sure stay here again!

Warm getaway

We were pleased how close the condo was to the water. Beach chairs and umbrellas were handy. The cleaning crew could do better. Seemed they neglected to sweep and do some cleaning. We still enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous updated condo

Loved this unit as well as the building and location !! We felt safe and secure in the building, it's within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Beach wasn't near as crowded as Clearwater, much for family friendly !

Great place

We loved the location. Beautiful beach. Easy to walk to everything. Very happy with it but be aware if you have 3 couples... 3rd bedroom is actually a utility room with a twin bed in it... wasn't quite as big as looked in pictures. Also take beach towels... there weren't any there which is unusual for a beachfront condo. Overall I would stay here again for the location.

Loved it!

The beach, the view, and the location couldn't have been more perfect. The condo was beautifully updated and decorated. My only real criticism is the bed in the master felt like we were laying on cinder blocks w a mattress topper thrown over them. After 7 nights, my hips were literally bruised. Beyond that, our stay was heavenly.

Nice oceanfront condo, totally as advertised

Family of 5 stayed for a week. We loved the oceanfront location, the proximity to a coffee shop and ice cream across the street and John's pass a short walk/drive away. Check in and check out were easy, the condo was clean, and the management responded to our problems with the internet and made it right. It would have been nice to get the problem resolved on a weekend when we checked in, but we had to wait until Monday. We appreciated the beach gear (chairs, umbrella, etc.) in the patio closet. Kitchen supplies were adequate, beds were comfortable, and overall everything was as advertised. Happy with our stay.

Not near what I expected

The place was in a great location , we had to drive 8 miles each way to get a key that we didn’t need. The linens needed updating the kitchen supplies are minimal. My car was hit in parking lot and they took off. My problem no help was offered. The ceiling fan in room didn’t work then microwave broke I will not be back

Nice stay

Pros:Comfy beds & couch. Great master shower & veranda. We really enjoyed our beachfront stay even though weather was colder than normal. Prompt service fixing plumbing issue!ConsNo coffee for first morning No frying pan or sheet pan to cook bacon. There was a super small fry pan for scrambled eggs but we Had to purchase one in order to make bacon. None or extremely poor WiFi or cell data Fitted sheet on king bed wasn’t deep pocket so constantly had to put corners back on- bed & pillows Super comfy tho!!!For price it’s frustrating they didn’t have the basic things listed above, but when these are ran by management companies were coming to realize the care just isn’t there. Place was nice though! Just be prepared to do a lot of shopping for random things you’d expect furnished.

We loved this location! Right on the beach, walking distance to John’s Pass, restaurants, and shops. It was very clean and well taken care of. Good amount of dish options to make meals in if you wanted to. The only complaint I have (mostly because I don’t rent from VRBO often and don’t know the process) but we drove straight to the condo and had to wait for any information regarding check in. I didn’t realize we had to drive to another location to get the keys before we could even get in the building. I understand waiting for key codes and such but just a heads up for what the check in process would look like even 24 hours ahead of time would’ve been nice. Just felt like the communication was a little lacking leading up to the stay but once the codes came through, everything went smoothly.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was great being on the second floor ! Easy access to the stairs! The pool was great and the location is wonderful. The condo itself was nice, comfortable with lots of beach toys. I just wish it had been a little cleaner and renter friendly . It needs a broom, mop, and vacuum cleaner. Also better bed linens and pillows. I would recommend it if it was updated a bit. But we had a great time because it was all about being with family!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location. Not sure why vacationers have to return keys to office upon checkout in this day of technology. Keys needed to pool gate, building doors and beach gate. Key overload and you have to beg for an additional key. We also had to ask for a couple of extra towels which seemed like a task. Staff at RR was ok but made ya feel we were asking way too much. No trash liners in unit. Overall things were good, just a few suggestions for future stays. Our other family members unit had extra everything!

Three generations Girl Trip

The condo and beach and convenience to restaurants was amazing. We saw lots of dolphins during our stay. Having to pick up the keys for the outer doors was very inconvenient. We couldn’t find sheets for the futon but managed. Also there were beach chairs and beach toys which was a nice find. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for sharing your wonderful place.

Good location on a nice beach

The property location is great and the beach was nice. The condo itself, while it has been upgraded, could really use a deep clean. There was dust caked on the ceiling fans and the floor was sandy upon our arrival. It seems as though the cleaning process isn’t thorough and it’s starting to show. There was no dustpan to sweep the floors and the one broom was meant for outdoor use. The washer or dryer leaked oil or some substance on several of our clothing items. It was nice to have paper towels, toilet paper and dishwasher detergent provided. The balcony was spacious and the outside closet was full of fun beach toys for the kids

Spring Break

This property has a wonderful view and location. It however is extremely dirty. The small vacuum on the property did not work and there was no broom to be found. There were only 6 bath towels total which meant a lot of washing. And with the washer and dryer being in a bedroom made nighttime washing difficult. Since this is an interior unit it gets very little light. And the front bedrooms have no overheard lights and only very small lamps. Overall Villa Madeira is a nice complex and has a good location but I would not rent this unit again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location! Location! Location! We had a great stay. Our condo was perfectly located on the ocean with beautiful views. The condo was clean and spacious. I did not appreciate the lack of simple amnesties such as coffee filters for the coffee pot, extra garbage bags, toilet paper and paper towels. Also, the off site key pickup and drop off is a hardship for travelers coming from out of state without a car.

We supply a starter kit when you arrive and coffee filters is not provided, however, toilet paper and paper towels is provided, but just to get you started. We loved, loved the unit! We hated the fact that the unit above us was being renovated.

It was much nicer than any beach property we have stayed at in the past.

Peaceful Villa Madeira

We had a great time at Villa Madeira. The condo was exactly as described as well as description. It had everything we needed for the week. Was not crowded at all. The only thing we didn’t personally like was the 2 sets of keys. Would have preferred key pads. Great place to vacation. Johns pass was great but too far to walk for us in the heat. Would definitely stay here again!!
