kitchen
The kitchen includes all-new, stainless steel appliances including microwave, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker and grinder (note there is no dishwasher in this cabin). The cabinets are adequately stocked with dishes, utensils, glassware and more cooking gear than you'd expect at a rental cabin (cookie sheets, bread pans, non-stick pots/pan, and accessories right down to the kabob skewers).
sleeping accommodations
All our cabins feature both down and foam pillows as well as down comforters. Your beds have a pillow-top mattress and luxury, high thread count, all-cotton linens. The top spread is a lush cabin style and the bed is made with plenty of coordinating throw pillows and Euro-shams. Designer-quality towels are provided for showering, and extra hot tub towels are also stocked. You've never stayed in the Smokies like this before.
There is a king bedroom on the main floor and a queen bedroom with additional sleeping for 2 on a futon located on the lower level. Both bedrooms are equipped with flatscreen TVs and private bathrooms. Plush bath towels are provided for the base number of occupancy with additional towels for hot tub use. Linens and towels for guests utilizing the futon(s) for sleeping are provided for when occupancy is greater than the base amount of this cabin, but use of these linens when occupancy doesn't warrant it may result in additional charges as defined on our reservations page.
great room
The great room is open and spacious. It features large windows looking out to the view, and plenty of room to enjoy preparing and eating a meal or hanging out in front of the gas-log fireplace to watch a movie. The cabin was absolutely beautiful! AND THE VIEWS WERE TO DIE FOR! We will definitely book with you again. The cabin was clean and welcoming. The hot tub was used every single day! The beds were comfortable. We were in love with this place
The house was absolutely stunning, the views were amazing!!! The house did have an odor. Not sure what it was. The broom was broken. The advertisement was worded as if everyone got free tickets for white water rafting... But when I clicked on the website it was the first ticket free then you paid for everyone else. I feel that needs to be worded differently. Other than that our stay was amazing!!!
Brought my family of 4 on an impromptu weekend stay in the beautiful NC mountains after wrapping up school. Booked with less than a days notice and everything went as smoothly as possible. The host was extremely accesible for all of my questions. The cabin was beautiful with amazing views. The hot tub next to the outdoor gas logs was a favorite hangout. It truly felt like indoor/outdoor living. The drive may be intimidating for some, but my husband found it pretty easy to do in our minivan. Would 10/10 recommend and will hopefully be back again.
We had the best time, wished we would have booked another day. I love just sitting on the porch and all you hear is the birds and waiting for more deer to come to the edge. The view was awesome!
Fantastic semi-secluded cabin! We were very impressed with the views from the driveway and inside the cabin. You can see mountain tops for miles! Hot tub was used often and was a great quiet place to star gaze at night. Both beds were comfortable and liked that both bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Kitchen was equipped nicely, but feel like the knives should be sharpened or replaced soon...had a tough time trimming/cutting into meats. We were a little disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the cabin. Overall, not too bad. But when you start to pay attention to certain areas/spots, you can definitely tell those areas have been neglected. For example, behind and underneath both beds were covered is dirt, dust, cob webs. The area underneath the main sofa was dirty and all the glass windows had massive streaks. The downstairs area curtains were full of spider webs. The downstairs carpet had a ton of dirty spots. There is black mold on the shower curtain in the main bathroom on 1st floor. We also noticed that both the wall lights in the main bathroom on 1st floor didn't work. Both the love seat and sofa has rips and tears, and a pretty bad patch work job on the love seat. All the cushions sink pretty bad and are definitely showing it's wear and tear. One of the chairs on the back deck was clearly broken and was just zip tied to fix. Both swivel chairs on back deck were very loose as well. When listed as "luxury", we just expected a little more comfort and cleanliness.
Overall stay was good. Pretty cabin and amenities. Additional paperwork required by rental company seemed a bit overkill. But otherwise the cabin was beautiful and the view was amazing.
My husband and I enjoyed our weekend. The views from the porches of this cabin are amazing. The inside is very nice, clean and nicely decorated. The bedding was so comfortable. The cabin is very private. The road leading to the cabin is a little scary if you are not accustomed to mountain driving, but well worth the stress. lol
The property has a picture showing a very nice hot tub ans fireplace overlooking the gorge. I rented the cabin because of this picture. Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn't working and looked as if it hasn't been for some time. When I called the management group, they said they were not aware of any issues. Anyway, we got over it and really enjoyed the cabin and our 3 days in Almond. The management answered and stayed in touch. The gas fireplaces both worked and we enjoyed the fire ring every night. The view was great and the long entry road was cool. You may want to check with them prior to arrival if you are planning on using the hot tub.

Overall nice cabin
First you can’t check in till 5pm. I received a phone call around 5pm on the day we were to check in that the hot was broken and maintenance would be out the next day to fix it. We choose a cabin solely on the fact we wanted a hot tub to soak in after driving 5 hours on motorcycles for Thunder in the Smokey’s bike rally. I received a call on Saturday at 6pm that maintenance had been out and fixed the hot tub. We came back in around 9pm and the hot tub was stink not fixed. I’m still waiting on the office to return my call about a partial refund.
The views were stunning, the house was very comfortable (especially the beds), and plenty of room for hanging out together in family room/living room. The porch was amazing.
The cleanliness could have been better. Things were very dusty, cushion on couch was moved and you could see it full of food crumbs. Dishes in cabinets were dirty. Bathrooms were very clean.
We have only one thing we didn't like
We were able to get a hotspot to connect to the internet with 1 GB for free, every other GB cost you $15
If you need internet for work (zoom needs around 4GB for an hour)or school, expect to pay a lot extra bugs, otherwise it's really beautiful and the people who are working in the office........thank you so much for your friendly welcome.
Enjoy your stay, it's worth it, if you do not need internet access
We went with our our toddlers, our friends and their toddlers, plus a couple dogs. The hill out back and the backyard steps weren’t great for the kids, but we kept them away so it was okay. There was a note about ladybugs being an issue sometimes, and we only saw a couple, but there were tons of stink bugs. Not a serious concern, but they were pretty annoying. The lighting was not very good throughout the house. We tried doing a puzzle and it was a lot harder to see without better lighting. All of the other rental properties I’ve stayed at had binders or instructions at the house for different tidbits and check out rules and places to see in the area, as well as extra/leftover food items like oils or spices. I think since this is a rental through a property manager versus a single owner, they weren’t able to provide the more personable experience. Also would’ve been nice to have access to a cleaning closet in case we needed extra towels or cleaning supplies or whatnot to clean up after the kids. The views were gorgeous and the cabin was very cozy and cute, and the hot tub was great!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Nantahala Gorgeous Cabin! It was cozy and comfortable. We loved waking up in the clouds and we will definately be back!
Cabin was great. Very relaxing. The pics online do not give the view justice.

Best view of mountains possible from the deck so I could have rocked all day every day enjoying it!
Only drawback is that the plastic rocking chairs were not comfortable or effective. Having real rocking chairs and a porch swing would make the porch perfect!

Excellent mountain view cabin on private hillside
We had an excellent last minute getaway to Nantahala Gorgeous. The cabin was very clean and in perfect condition. Our dog loved exploring the big property area and taking naps on the deck. The hot tub was clean and worked perfectly. The cabin is about 15 min from Bryce city where there was plenty to do and grocery stores etc.. Overall would definitely stay again
