Enjoy our cozy, newly furnished, cottage near newport's beaches and restaurants!

Welcome to our cozy cottage!! We are less than a mile to two beaches with access to the many restaurants and nightlife that newport has to offer. Our home has an open and airy floor plan that allows for an easy flow for you and your family or guests to share in making memories. Everything in our home is new and/or updated....all the furnishings, to the deck, the beds, the dressers, linens, and a high efficiency washer and dryer. Our kitchen is newly renovated, and comes equipped with a blender, coffee maker, cooking utensils, pots, pans and dishes. Included in your stay is wireless internet and tv with cable. We offer both a driveway and street parking as well as a brand new outdoor shower, central air conditioning, newly landscaped, fenced in backyard and hammock with new comfortable deck furniture!!

Come wake up to the melodic sound of many birds chirping while you sip your coffee in the morning sun on the deck. Easily pack yourself up for a day at the beach, and cool off when you get home in our spacious outdoor shower.

Additional cleaning fees will be added for excess laundry, stains, garbage and grill left dirty. Excessive dog hair not cleaned will be deducted.

Excellent cottage in Middletown

The cottage is very clean and well-stocked with anything you could possibly need. Very nice deck to relax before or after the beach. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Peaceful getaway

Middletown Cottage

Beautiful home so close to beaches. Very quiet and friendly neighborhood. Lynn had all the supplies we needed! Loved the yard and outdoor shower. So nice to bring our golden doodle with us and have a fenced in yard.

Lovely cottage with great amenities!

We loved staying at this property. Having all the amenities of home - with an updated kitchen and bathroom - made settling into the house and community easy. The deck was fabulous and gardens meticulously manicured. We walked into Newport to explore the town and took the recommendations of the owner regarding restaurants and activities. All in all, we loved our time in Rhode Island!

Graduation Weekend

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay for our twins HS graduation from St. George’s. The location was perfect as the kids could walk over to visit us. The kitchen was nicely renovated and clean and well stocked. The house had everything we needed and Lynn was super responsive. The deck was very peaceful with nice comfortable furniture. Thank you!

Wonderful vacation

The location was great. We biked to 2nd and 1st beach, which is awesome on a busy day, no parking needed. We took an Uber to town a few times and drove sometimes. Just a short drive to Thames. The location was nice because it was private and quiet, but close to everything. The house was clean, well stocked and Lynn was so easy to communicate with. We’d stay again! Thanks Lynn!

Fantastic Stay!

This is a great property. Its surprisingly spacious, comfortable, clean, well appointed. The fenced backyard is attractive and petsafe. Great place to walk your dog up the street "away from it all". The outdoor shower is great. Plenty of beach chairs and towels. Super convenient to restaurants in Middletown and First and Second beaches. Easy to get to Newport and further afield. 100% recommend.

Fabulous location and well maintained home

Clean and well supplied home with much needed items to make our stay enjoyable. Perfect for our dog and two boys who rode their scooters in the neighborhood and close enough to walk to the beaches and several restaurants. The first evening there we had dinner at First Beach watching the sunset and we walked from the cottage. The outdoor shower was nice after spending the day at the beach. We used the grill several times and ate out on the deck. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect property & location for our needs

The property was as described and perfect for our stay. The kitchen is well stocked and the property was clean and well maintained. Yard is fenced in so our dog did not have to be leashed. Great deck furniture. Location was just right less than a mile from the beach. If only the weather cooperated! Will most definitely stay again. Lynn responded to any questions promptly. This was a perfect Newport hideaway for my daughters and myself. The house is so close to everything -Newport beaches, Thames Street, and the mansion district were all just minutes away. Despite the prime location, the house felt incredibly private and tucked away from the bustle. It was the best of both worlds: convenience and calm. The neighborhood was quiet and welcoming, with friendly neighbors that made the stay feel even more comfortable. Lynn was a fantastic host - responsive, thoughtful, and quick to resolve the one small issue I had during my stay. Her attentiveness made a big difference. I’ll absolutely be staying here again. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with unbeatable access to Newport’s best spots, this is it.

A Perfect Spot

Lynn and Marty's house was just what we wanted. Very clean and well supplied. Great location with easy access to beaches, restaurants, mansions. In a quiet neighborhood with a nicely furnished back deck and totally fenced in back yard. Air conditioning was a nice feature, as it was warm when we visited. Lynn was very easy to communicate with. We were in the area for our son's wedding, so the groomsmen were able to gather there and dress before the wedding. While it is very close to Newport, it is away from all the traffic and crowds of downtown Newport. If we visit the area again, we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Lynn's house was the perfect place for is to spend the 4th of July holiday. It was clean, well stocked, and more spacious than we anticipated. We really enjoyed hanging out on the back patio and appreciated the beach accessories that were available for our use. We also appreciated that Lynn set us up with all the dry goods we could ever need during our stay - the only thing we had to purchase was food. The house was a quick 5 minute drive to Easton's beach and 15 minutes to downtown Newport. The driveway had plenty of space for our two SUVs and the neighborhood was very quiet. We will definitely look to return again next year. Thank you for having us!

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage in Newport. It was close and convenient to everything. The cottage was so cute and was very well stocked with everything we could need. The little back yard area is so pretty. It was nice to be able to stay in such a great place that was also dog friendly. Our pup enjoyed it too!
