We are regulars to staying at Beaver Run, the property has a lot to offer our ski family. The unit was nice but needed some minor maintenance updates which we advised the property managers. The WiFi does not meet
Yay! We're so happy to hear that everything was great, Kyle! Thanks for the kind words—it was a pleasure having you, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime.
This place has it all and is only steps away from beaver run chairlift. You can also ski down to quicksilver lift. The only minor negatives are that the indoor parking clearance is 7'2". Listing says 10'. The place is prettty big so it takes a little bit to learn the layout. I woild stay again.
The room was generally clean—no visible dust on countertops or furniture, which I appreciated. However, if you're sensitive to dust or have allergies, this may not be the best choice. The outdated furniture and carpeted floors seemed to hold onto dust, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable for me. Additionally, the listing photos need to be updated to reflect the current condition of the room more accurately. Overall, it was okay, but there are a few improvements that could really enhance the guest experience.
We spent 4 days here and really loved this place. The location is unbeatable. So convenient to/from the lift. You can store ski/board in the lock which is right next to the life. The one complain we have is the ski lock is tiny. We were only able to fit 2 pairs of skis and 1 board in it. No room for shoes either. We had 6 people so I expected there’s room for all the equipment. Luckily our two other boarders didn’t mind bringing their boards in the room. This place also short walk to the village which is great since we had some down time. Kids also loved heated pool and hot tub. They did not want to leave. The condo is cozy and has all the stuff we need for the stay. Management company is also very pleasant to deal with. They answered quickly to all my questions. We will definitely come back here for future trips. .
The appt was clean and tidy, however there were some small issues, some of which were related to the complex. One issue was that the the appt was much smaller than it looked in the photos. Furniture was moved to make the lounge appear larger at certain angles. Cupboards were well stocked, including flour, oil, marshmallows, coffee, S&P, pancake syrup etc. there were a wide range of utensils, pots and pans which made cooking in the appt super easy. There was plenty of knives and forks, but a lack of spoons which resulted in some of us eating soup with teaspoons. The complex was without hot water one of the mornings which when below freezing doesn't work well to shower. Most bars and areas in the complex were closed after 5pm. There was one small bar in the hallway that ran out of red wine and 2 days later they still didn't have any replacements from the restaurant 20 yards away, so we had to buy into town to buy our own wine. Comments from staff were that the management were all Visa holders from overseas and had already checked out and didn't really care. The TV in the appt uses the hotel Wi-Fi which resulted in the TV pausing for 5 seconds every 20-30 second which was extremely frustrating while relaxing in front of the fire and watching a movie at night. Overall the appt was fine, but ultimately let down by the complex which managed it.
