I grew up in the DC area, but my parents family's vacationed in Vermont since the 1940's. In their spirit I decided to buy a lake chalet in Vermont. I am a teacher who lives 20 minutes from the chalet. I have penchant for travel so I decided to buy a property to share my love for travel.

Why they chose this property

Lake Bomoseen is a clean beautiful body of water that does not have the traffic (people, boats, and cars) that other northeast lakes have. However, it does have the amenities such as restaurants, marinas, and year-round activities that are close for all ages to enjoy. Plus, the open grassy area with lake access and your own 30-foot dock makes this a great property.

What makes this property unique

This is not a lake "camp" with old beat-up furniture, dusty areas, and cobwebs to boot. the lake chalet offers a clean, comfortable, and convenient stay with many, if not all the touches of a home. Throughout the chalet you will find that thoughtful touches that separate it from others around the lake. We have carefully crafted the chalet for your enjoyment. The property sits three quarters of the way down a dead-end road so there is little car traffic to bother you. With sizable parking, sleeping, and recreational areas we feel this a is a great retreat for families and friends to gather. Its close enough to access much of what Vermont has to offer for all seasons and set aside enough not to be bothered by others.
